It would be a bit more appealing if it was Google Home + Chromecast TV + Chromecast Audio for that price.

Chromecast audio regularly goes on sale for 15 quid, so it very nearly is that price
I'd much prefer the Google home for £95, as £119-£10 voucher-£25 average cost of Chromecast =95.
Tbh I'll probably bite on a home, once Google releases something akin to echo dot. Google dot that I can plug into my speaker system for around 40 would be a no brainer, instant buy for me.

You can enable Google search for Echo Dot, so I don't even see a reason to get Google Home.
it still doesn't play any of my google music though - I have about 10,000 songs and playlists uploaded there
and alexa never will because google won't open that up / amazon has no interest in supporting a competing music service
so for me the echo dot is useless

OK good example. However there's always ways round things so this might work for you >
The workaround is to reupload 10,000 of my songs that I have in a free service (Google music) to a paid service (Amazon music)
That's sort of the long way around, but thanks for trying to help

Just bought my second of the back of this deal..............
Was a bit miffed when I saw that they were offering 3 months play music with them (go to offers) but to new customers only :disappointed: and I was already on a months free trial.....
BUT clicked the offer button anyhow just on the off chance and now have free Play music until the end of November  it looks like they have given me 3 months for each Google Home..
So a result... about £50/60 saved as I was going to keep the £9.99 pm subscription anyhow..

See this is my problem but entirely the other way around.
I've got premium (monthly sub) Amazon music but google home won't accept that subscription, you can only link the music services to google music (monthly sub) or Spotify premium (monthly sub).
I didn't realise this before buying the google home and it's so frustrating and I think I'll have to send it back.

wakkaday: Yes, you can instruct Google Home to broadcast videos vi. the Chrome Cast.. atm it only supports YouTube but they plan to expand this later.
