I think he might mean the codes for the backwards compatible versions of Gears 2 and 3 and also Judgement, but I apologise if I am wrong.
I bought this from new and if memory serves me well, the codes for the other 3 Gears games arrived in your message box and had to be used by Xmas (2014 or 2015). I have a copy of Gears 4 in front of me and inside is a card with the codes for the backwards compatible 1,2,3 and Judgement. Considering how cheap Gears 4 is already, that's 5 good games for very little money. The Ultimate Edition remaster of Gears 1 was good but there was something gritty and authentic about the original which (for me) added to the game. For a stand alone game at £5.99 remastered it's worth it for sure.

I always thought this was 1,2 and 3! As I'm sure it came out at the same time of Gears 4. Hmmmm aw well thanks anyway.

No, they only remastered the first one, probably because there was an existing PC version to work from, whereas 2, 3 and Judgment never got PC versions.

if only this dropped this low a couple weeks ago I'd have bit - me n the Mrs needed a new coop game to go at, and started the regular backwards compatible version since I picked it up years ago. great deal, great game (even the original still held up as a decent coop shooter) heated.
Not exactly but instead same price at Graingergames. However no cash back or points with either of them so GAME is still the better option. :wink:

I haven't opened my copies up yet, however on the back it states: Xbox One 1-2 players (I assume that means split screen), Xbox Live 2-8 players. There is also a flash that states early beta access for GoW 4. I've bought the wrong game haven't I?

They did do this twice, although it's not possible to get gears 2, 3 and judgement with ultimate edition, you can get those with gears 4, which considering is about £20-25 new with the codes is still well worth it!!
