I contacted Quidco live chat for another cashback issue and the lady resolved it very quickly. She was very helpful, so I asked her why my Spinners purchase at theworks.co.uk was rejected.

She said that most of the purchases that day were rejected as they did not receive a confirmation that the order went through.

She asked me to raise a "Missing Cashback" claim at the following link and fill the order details with the normal 21% cashback option. Once the cashback is confirmed by the merchant, Quidco will automatically credit the bonus £3 to your account.

Apparently this is the only way they can now verify that the purchase went through.. I just raised mine, thought it will be helpful to others who's cashback has been wrongly rejected. Good luck...!!

Did ANYONE actually get this £3 out of Spivco?

I purchased this £3 Spinner via the May Bonus link and although my purchase tracked I have seen on my account that it has been "Declined"!!!
Not at all Happy about this! Now trying to contact Quidco about being mis lead with this purchase.

If you clicked on the £4 spinners, then scrolled through the pics of it, it clearly showed the spinner in a 'Whirlez' box, so I presume they were Whirlez spinners.

Picked mine up yesterday. It's great! and my little sister loves it.

Cashback was declined though, is it worth the hassle going through support for 3 quid?

Ordered it within half an hour of it being posted. Got the email today for collection at 11:56.

They had on the £3 Whirlerz ones which were in stock at the time excluded from promotional code

I only received my order confirmation yesterday, never mind it having reached the store, and now I've just had a cancellation email as they're out of stock :disappointed:

Mine declined as well but says merchant doesn't accept queries. The one I ordered hasn't even arrived in the store yet so, assuming it turns up, will be returned immediately.

You needed to buy a "Whirlerz" branded fidget spinner. Pretty sure they didnt have a £4 Whirlerz fidget spinner.

So I guess you brought the wrong brand hence no tracking at £3

TCB are pathetic when it comes to reliability and Customer Care - pretty much all of my purchases via Quidco track and pay fine - the ones which don't once I open a claim get resolved in my favor. Whereas the experience with TCB has been just the opposite - unless I really/absolutely have to buy from a merchant who isn't on Quidco but on TCB - I avoid the latter !

It would have been much better if Quidco and The Works actually planned this properly and knew there would be enough stock. Great idea to offer a freebie, rubbish that it doesn't work out that way.

only a 33% chance you will get a red one, if you look at the page it shows BLACK,RED and BLUE, and the words "colours may vary"

as for the letting your pick if your going to collect it im 100% sure they will if asked nicely

If you look at the pictures on the metallic one, pic 3 shows it in a box and it is the brand mentioned (whirlez) so you should be fine. Maybe the quidco rep on here can confirm this.

What rubbish. I have a basic account which is free and have earned almost £2000 in cashback over the years from quidco.

I hope we can choose a different one in store when we pick up

It's actually true because I've done mine. I even got an extra 0.63p cash back on top of the £3 so there you go.

You only get the £3 really in your pocket if you already paid them£5 a year and wait for this get confirmed and become payable so that's saying half an year later and maybe....

Whats the obsession with these? why are schools allowing them? they are a distraction, and kids are obsessed with getting them.

I think you only get £3 back, if you buy more than one, you wont get £3 back on each of the others.

I can confirm the above (from Quidco themselves) - I ordered 3 x spinners (the camo ones) and got them for £12, added the free delivery code and checked on Quidco and saw my purchase was tracked (£3 cashback) within minutes. Good work Quidco-sters! My kids will sell them at school for £5 and make themselves a bit of pocket money ;-)

Just an observation, but sometimes I've noticed on some offers some unclear use of the language in the T+Cs, and so it is difficult sometimes to know if you are meeting them or not - it's usually on the "opt-in" offers..........variations of until, before, (and then the spending requirements).

Check your T+C on that again, and it does say more than £3......now if it said £3 or more, then that's different.

But as you've clarified £3 is enough.

if you're older than 7, and a spinner keeps you occupied for more than 10 seconds
then you have issues lol

Just ordered then realised Quidco will eat up the £3 as it wants the first £5 each year before you receive any cashback. Now got to cancel :confused:

Hot for the offer but cold for the item as it is one of the most annoying toys ever invented. Children take them to school and they make noises that distract everyone in the class. I don't get this fidget thing...

I've never had a problem with Quidco so far. The only times things haven't tracked or paid have been for good reason.

So, let me get this right...go to The Works website from Quidco using this special link, add a £3 spinner to your basket, checkout, collect from store and £3 will be credited to Quidco?
