Used to work there going on 10 years ago and while it was well made, the fit was terrible. Is it any better now?

Bought a few bits...not sure what was wrong Weds/Thurs but after picking up a few things the website crashed every time I went to checkout on my PC...ended up losing items until I managed to work it through on a tablet.

Some of the stuff seem to be repeats from the Winter sale they had.
But have only been introduced to this company in the last few months and can't believe how good the quality is above a lot of better known designer brands!

It's still a more 'relaxed' fit I guess; if you want fitted, go a size smaller. I'm 6' 2" and 13 stone at the moment, and I'll comfortably fit in a size S slim fit shirt or t shirt.

Really? I'm 6" 13 stone but find a medium/large best

Agreed.
I'm 6ft and 13 stone and large tops in FF and find a 34" waist 32" leg in FF is true to size for me.
Thanks OP! I got £150.00 worth of stuff - Trousers, two cotton cashmere jumpers and a TEE for £69.00 with free delivery (over £60.00). Hope it all looks okay as there are NO FREE RETURNS on sale items but you can take to nearest store (if you have one near that is).

I'm 2 inches taller than both of you then for a start.
When I was 15 stone a medium was fine and just about in a 34 for jeans. Currently go to the gym, cycle or run four times a week and a FF 32" jean fits perfectly, and the slim fit S shirts are great. As previous I prefer a fitted look whereas I think Fat Face is a more relaxed fit generally, hence going down a size works perfectly for what I want.
Had several size M fat face shirts when I was heavier and had to eBay the lot once I got into my sports and fitness properly as they just looked massive on me.
Been wearing FF stuff for the last 12 years and it's seemed fairly consistent size-wise in all that time, it's just me that's changed body shape up and down over the years

How funny. The large shirts are fitted on me and I am also fit as you have gone into detail about. I won't go into great detail. I beat you at the length of time I have been wearing FF though bought my first set of clothes 18 years ago in their Lymington shop. Congratulations on your fit you will get loads of small tops in the sale.

Different shapes and sizes I suppose, happy enough with their clothes though that's what matters

Yes agreed. I think bone structure has a lot to do with it for people that require larger sizes of a certain size. Arm length. Shoulder width, etc. I would not be able to get a small top on let alone off. A medium would be a very tight fit too. Funny. I guess you need to know your size depending on the manufacturer. FF certainly good quality in my opinion though.
I do find the trousers relaxed on waist at 34" waist but the fit better overall. About the same as Levi's generally on waist and leg. Things do change though.

Just sent everything back as far too large! Also sent 4 superdry items back to Zalando same day as they were also size large but all too small. You can't win!

HaHa. After my last comment I come back to say that the cotton cashmere jumpers I bought in sale and just delivered were a funny size (long in the arm, baggy on cuff and wide on body even though nice on shoulders. Sent back for medium. Shirts in large fit well though! Just to say that you can still return FOR FREE on Collect+ website (even though it says you cannot on FF website). I spoke to customer services and they also confirmed that Collect+ is free returns even in sale but you need to select retailer on the Collect+ website and supply order number then it gives you a label to print off. 3% TCB at present too. Cheers.

And yeah, all the tops and jumpers seemed ok at the shoulders but were far too wide and so so long

No not one with mine just an address label and said it did not offer free returns in sale period. Did you buy any full priced items as it may have been included in that case? If not you got lucky or I got unlucky! lol.

I ordered one of those cashmere jumpers too and you're right. I ordered large and it was a good fit on my chest but had crazily long arms and was much too big aroundthe waist. I've reordered in medium by the colour I really wanted is now out of stock :disappointed:. The same was true of the Oxford shirt, fine around the shouders and chest, but far too big around the waist. I'd actually make a few orders so once they arrive may need to sen those back too.
I just made one more order today with medium sized, though according to the measurements on the site I 'should' be large, so I have a feeling that medium may be too small, and large too big. It's a shame, as I like the look of the clothes.

Agree with all that you have said. Great idea about ordering a couple of sizes with free returns (even though it says there are no free returns in the sale period on their website) Wish I had done that. Had medium delivered today in the cotton / cashmere tops and they do fit much better but still not the fit I am used to. If anything a little bit small / short to what I am used to! Can I win? No.

Same here. They are driving me crazy because they look good, but the sizing is definitely strange. I had another lot arrive today, a hoodie is fine at large, so I'll keep that, and another shirt that arrived isn't quite so tent-like in the waist as the previous one, but it't not ideal either, so I'm in two minds about what to do.

I was too but decided to keep. The cotton / cashmere feel and look such good quality even if the fit not great but it is not bad either. If they do shrink even a little in the wash there will be a problem so I will send / take them back. They are very good when it comes to refunds. Win / Win.
