It's simple your credit is applied to your main account then just contact customer service and ask them to transfer that credit to a bnpl order of your choice then pay what's left outstanding on that item before the year so no interest.
If bnpl doesn't appear during checkout then you might not be eligible.
I think AO are getting wise to this now! The agent knew as soon as I mentioned it that the toolkit cost £56 on Dyson website. He explained that this is a special offer that Dyson are doing that they cannot price match. However, after I expressed disappointment, he put me on hold for 5 minutes, then came back to say that they are selling the toolkit for £30 rather than £56 and could refund me £30 instead as a goodwill gesture.
Better than nothing I guess, as I have effectively purchased a brand new V6 for £140.10! Thank you D9X for the tip.

Just spoke with AO but they said that they couldn't do it at the very price and knock the price of the tool kit off as well as they would be losing money.

originally price matched very at 164.99. refunded £56 which is the price of the kit.

D9X, How much of a refund did you get for the toolkit and how much did you pay for it originally on AO?
I just ordered it directly via the AO website yesterday and paid £170.10, but didn't think they would also refund toolkit since this is already cheaper than Dyson website.

Any luck with Dyson price match? I am considering buying direct with them- you then also get the handheld tool kit included

Nope! Dyson refused to price match for me despite the fact I already purchased two other Dyson products from them. They said it was because toolkit is included which makes it a better deal. I didn't need the toolkit this time around so just ordered this morning via ao.com instead.
If you do decide to go with them then I would suggest you try to convince them to upgrade your toolkit if they won't budge on price. They did this for me after some convincing on the webchat for my last purchase. I think the upgraded toolkit was maybe around £20 more.

as mentioned earlier I was price matched by AO. I called them after ordering and explained the toolkit was included with dyson direct. they have now refunded me the price of the toolkit as they do not stock it. I have to say their cs is fantastic.

I already have the V6 animal, but looking to get something similar for my parents.
I've just checked ao.com website: they are selling this for £170.10 at the moment. (10% off £189). I tried calling to get a price match, was put on hold for 5 mins and then cut off twice!
Might try contacting Dyson directly tomorrow to see if they will match it. Not sure if anyone else has had any luck with that.

The animal includes an extra attachment ... the smaller powered tool. Normally if you do not buy the animal it is usually not possible to add the head later.

Just picked up the v6 total clean yesterday from Currys as it has a HEPA filter (my partner is very allergic to dust) and fair play, they are pretty good and very light. I can say that it does last pretty much spot on 20 mins mind though it sucked up more than the previous one (an old dyson dc04) and is perfect for using it every day

Good deal, got the dc59 deal which is the same as this but for £135. Only one year warranty though so I think this is better..... If the code works.

The DC59 deal was the animal ... this is the standard cordless without the animal head. You are also buying from Very here so are opening an account with them!
