What you should have asked is. "This doesn't seem like much of a deal to me!". Someone would have then replied giving you the normal gate price, advising what a good deal this is and lots more insightful information.

Ticket price itself though is HOT!

Whats the normal gate price? We are thinking of going but dont really know where to start.

Only you can answer that... do you have children? how old are they? How much do you like Disney? How much do you like theme parks? What else might you do with the time? etc etc.

£39.00 is mainly off season, Put the dates in to see if it's available. £50.00pp in August.

Those going for a few day consider annual passes or alternative offers depending on age of children as sometimes under certain ages go free with complete package. We have annual passes and these days we can get there for about 600 quid for wk which includes flights and room. I stay self catering too, won't pay over odds for food plus being vegetarian, they don't cater well at all.

Deal is a bit misleading, it doesn't say specific dates. One would assume it's for all dates until September 2017 but as biju pointed out first week of august is £50pp and the price increases further up until end of august.

3 days manageable but it be busy. I've been going a fair bit lately and the minimum we done lately as been 5 nights.

Yeh we've had ours since October, I'm always in free and can take some adults in free but I tend to go on my own but it children. Children higher tiered passes so 20% in shops worth having. I tend to stay in Val d'Europe, use free buses but stayed in Torcy last time, just 3 stops on rer it was lot cheaper room too. Not as nice as rooms we've had in Val d'Europe but alright.

Don't suppose anyone has been to Disneyland Hong Kong and know if it's better buying before you go or when you get there? On their site they have a 2 day pass which works out at about £125 for 2 people for 2 days. If anyone knows of a better deal that would be appreciated, thanks :smiley: Voted hot btw for this deal

I've been to disneyland HK.. I would suggest you avoid it as its really small and overcrowded. I found people rude and it was really unenjoyable.

My wife lived in Paris for a while and often went to Disney, she thinks this is a good deal and buying it for herself and a friend when they go in August.

This is taking the mickey. And have you queued with French people? They have a different 'ethos'.

I live in Hong Kong and haven't been to the Disneyland in over 3 years.

As supermetroid said, it is small - although this isn't necessarily a bad thing, you could play on every ride as well as walk around in one day. Overcrowded is another thing but that's mainly due to the influx of China tourists in recent years, which I believe why supermetroid experienced rudeness.

The plus side is they've just refreshed the Space Mountain ride, and since last year they've got the new Iron Man ride (which I believe is a 3D/4D type of ride)

Worth going to DL HK simply for Mystic Mansion- amazing ride.

Quite the opposite experience for us, we loved it over Paris but not been to Paris for 15 years. The thing that made a big difference was quality of food much better in Hong Kong.

Don't forget the big tip of trying their direct offers for other countries though. Go to the main disneyland paris site and then where it says UK English at the top, change it to others - for example, by changing it to French (thanks Google Translate) there is an offer of 40% off all weekend stays plus kids under 12 go free.
Now the UK offer for this summer is only 20% off and free half board food but you pay for kids, so VERY different! But you are allowed to buy from anywhere (till we Brexit anyway...) so try different countries, find the different offers, figure out what works for you but at a first glance that one for French language looks like the best deal if you have kids under 12.

Also the Trip advisor forum is very good, but navigation on TA is awful.
We go most years, but out of peak season. You will spend a lot of time in queues at peak time but part of the magic of Disney is the whole place is simply wonderful, it's not just about getting on rides. You will need at least three days to even come close to seeing most of it. We tend to go for four or five so we can relax too.
A train into Paris is also very easy, right from the station outside the parks.
Our personal preference is staying in the Davy Crockett lodge, but you need to have driven there. Otherwise all the Disney hotels are fine, and honestly you'll be so knackered from your time in the park that it's simply somewhere to sleep, so I wouldn't recommend the pricier hotels.
AirBnB are offering more and more places nearby; although I'd guess they are booked for this summer already.
The new Villages Nature (Centreparcs/Disney combined project) is opening very shortly so that might be worth checking out for initial offers:
