The main downside is 1GB RAM, this could become a problem as you'll become dependant on virtual memory and these types of devices can be bad with 2GB RAM.
You have to basically know what you're getting into.

I agree that in 2017 only 1 gb of ram is borderline. Most cheap android phones also have 2gb. Since a tablet is expected to be more graphic intensive... might be trouble.

Windows is terrible for use on a tablet unless paired with a keyboard and mouse which defeats the purpose other than a highly portable PC akin to a netbook.

I think its fair to say, you get what you pay for. I would advice paying more, be it the processor or memory, it works but rapidly slows for a multitude of reasons.

i bought the 8.9 version of this on monday, received on tuesday and for the last 2 days it has been working great. can do everything i can do on my pc and netbook on this. its full windows 10 and even comes with a cable to use usb drives in it. it would be better with a keyboard but as a tablet for browsing ect it is fast and works great. im glad i bought it and with a year warranty you cant go wrong. buy it.

Hubby and I bought 2 of these via this deal. They are doing 10% off if you buy 2 or more, so we got them for £72 - £36 each. Cracking deal.
