It is adjustable in seat height, tilt tension, arm rests, and has tilt lock both in upright and recline positions.
The synchronous seat plate mechanism is lockable in 4 positions and facilitates a graduated back/seat tilt ratio of 2:1. This means the chair can lean back further with less incline to the seat, so feet are kept firmly on the ground.
The chair has adjustable features to help you sit in an ergonomic position by promoting good posture and improving productivity. The chair casters are designed for floors with carpets or hardwood with a chair mat.
Adjustable features: Seat height, tilt tension, arm rests
Synchronous seat plate mechanism locks in 4 positions
Tilt ratio: 2:1 back/seat

I used to buy these every 1-2 years - the cushion used to 'flatten' in a few months & my back couldn't take it any longer with the horrible ergonomics.
Lesson learnt - bought a secondhand, high-quality Herman Miller 4 years ago off eBay (for ~£300), which hasn't changed shape, brilliant ergonomics, my back has recovered & I expect it to last at least 20 years.
If you spend an extended length of time at a desk everyday, don't skinch on your seating & ruin your back - get a Herman Miller or similar quality seat. You won't regret it.

Mine came in a box that had fallen apart and been patched up with tape. Everything there was new, and clearly not ex-demo, but had been piled in the box again rather haphazardly. However a couple of the smaller parts were missing so I am waiting for an answer from Staples about that. As they are sold out this will probably end up being more trouble than it was worth.

Mine arrived today and despite my worrying a bit about quality etc, it seems a very good quality chair.
There is no wobble at all and is very sturdy.
Thanks for your link Kyballion - next time I need a chair I will certainly look there, but for now at least I'm more than happy with this one - I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of it.
Lots of adjustments and I like the syncro back, makes it very comfortable. The arm rests have multiple adjustments including the angles, which is something I have found is very welcome. For the money this was a bargain.

I didn't have £300 to splash out on a chair either, but working from home I needed something to support my back and wrists.
If you keep an eye on fleabay for this brand, they pop up now and again in batches from offices clearances.
This site is also great to keep an eye on
This chair is double the price at the moment
Though no wrist support, this chair is vastly superior for ergonomics.
I would rather sit on a used chair like this than go through the migraines and back problems I had before.
After using a decent chair, If I had the money, I would definitely splash out on a new one.
They really make the world of difference.
Yeah, I don't mind going primarily to buy shorts for £2.50, or driving around an old banger, they serve a simple purpose.
But your back posture if not supported well will really affect your spine and health.
I know, I been there.
Follow these brand searches on eBay and gumtree, I got mine £45 which was a steal!

I was looking for a new office chair last year and bought a similar one to this. Unfortunately the arms on these types of chairs are so uncomfortable - the hard plastic quickly gave me sore elbows and forearms.
I contemplated spending hundreds on a pre-owned Herman Miller but I ended up getting a new 'Songmics' office chair on eBay - it was £70 (shipped from Germany) but I've been using it for the past 8 months and its been fantastic. It has soft fabric / material on the arms and it also reclines so its very comfortable!

I'm sitting in this chair right now and it cost me £90 'on offer!' Decent chair, not as comfy as my old one but well worth this price. The actual seat material flattens easily at the front but it's comfy enough for medium sessions of a few hours. I would spend more money on one if you use it all day every day - does me well for evening HUKD lurking :smirk:
