Completely off Quidco now. After mentioning on a previous post that i didn't receive the £10 deal a few months back a Quidco rep replied asking me to email him, which i did. Over a week later... No reply. Rubbish customer service

Hmmm...
Hadn't occured to me until just now, but I did 3/4 of those promotions over Christmas for various amounts of extra money back. None of that ever occured. Didn't see a penny on top of the basic percentages that tracked.
Quidco has gone downhill a lot.

I much prefer TCB to Quidco for customer service and tracking reliability and speed and the way that Quidco hide real time contact options behind their 'premium' option is annoying. That said I couldn't ignore this offer as it is very good if you were going to get something at zavvi anyway...

Quidco can be tricky. Beware, they don't count VAT or delivery fees. So you'd be best to add up VAT and fees on top of purchase a recalculate things again otherwise they will decline the cashback (as they always do).

£1.99 Postage if order is less than £10.00.
Seeing post above then it needs to be at least £10.79 then, so postage charge won't be an issue.

Cheers Op, wasnt bothered about the Lego one but this is a slightly better offer, you can purchase items at £9.99 without having to pay extra for postage, if that helps. (edit - scrub that - forgot about the VAT is excluded)
btw, I've never had an issue with Quidco with any of these promotions, maybe sometimes I've had to open up a support call but they are always resolved in my favour.

Yeah definitely, not saying any one is perfect, indeed there are pure scam cashback sites around like ilovecashback, which I lost around £30 of cashback to (mad) , so I only stick to the 'big two' now and I find both quidco and TCB are at least ok, TCB even nudging towards good for me, contacted them last week about a missing £2.50 bonus from a eBay purchase I had just recently made and a couple of days later they got back to me and cleared the payment for withdrawal right away saving me the 1-2 months I'd normally have to wait

I have those missing Christmas bonus offers with Quidco.
On top of that, a couple of gambling retailers I'd had cashback track with vanished from their site. I chased Quidco (I'm a Premium member) and their best suggestion (genuinely) was that I contact the gambling sites directly. I had to laugh.

Same here, 3 x bonus cashback not paid out, I sent emails to Quidco customer service a few times and each time they came up with a lazy excuse NOT to pay the cashback (even after sending them a screenshot of the offer).
I have now stopped using Quidco after being a member for 10+ years. No issues at all with TC.

I can't see anything re: VAT in the terms for this. Could someone point me in the right direction?

Well my £9.99 purchase has tracked with the £4.50 cashback on Quidco's site, so I don't see how they can not pay out on this due to ex VAT now.
The 25 pence normal Quidco cashback hasn't shown up like Derp1664's yet but that'll be a matter of time I suppose as normal.

If you're a longtime member of Quidco they'll make you 'premium members', this means they get to keep the first £5 of cashback. In my case it also meant I wasn't getting anything off them!
Complained on the site and got a stock email saying they'll sort it, nothing happened. Complained on Facebook and they managed to sort it out in days

I think the big question about this deal is that is there anything worth buying? It seems to me that some prices have just been put up by £4 or so in the same way Amazon increase the standard price of new games by £2 to cover the £2 "prime discount". I maybe wrong but I doubt there's any real bargains there. It's also hit and miss whether Quidco will give you your money back as well.
