Collected my 72 with little fuss. Store had said some people had ordered over 10 cases!

Honored all orders so it seems. Fair play to them too as they could of told us all to clear off. They've gained further custom from me when I get through this lot!

FYI for delivery orders, my Dad's arrived today.

They only dispatched half the amount (12 bottles per case not 24 bottles), and one of the boxes was damaged in transit so didn't turn up....ergo not even half arrived!

Customer services knew about the bitburger issue, but can't help until the manager is not in until tomorrow :confused:

They're seeming to want to do a prorata refund. I'll see what they offer.

Not sure what dad wants, the expiry date is December 2017, so it depends if he has any parties planned :laughing:

Picked mine up today...they first said it was for 12, but after a brief discussion, they gave me 24 :smiley:

Went to collect it on an otherwise disappointing day.

Was offered a wine tasting....of my favourite champagne Veuve Cliquot.

Disappointing day is now a good day.

I ordered the beer delivered. I didn't want the hassle of having the incorrect number so called and emailed requesting cancellation which majestic twice said they would do. It has now been dispatched...

I picked my order up for 96 bottles from the Exeter store today and the deal was honoured as promised by the store manager via email.

I didn't get any but after ringing customer service they are going to send me a £10 gift card

Hope they honour mine too! It was clearly a box of 24 on the website and all the way through the order process.

Cheeky lot as they amended all subsequent order correspondence and 'ready to collect' notifications with either a '12' or with a simple 'Bitburger' description.

I collected mine from Nottingham store yesterday and noticed it was only 12 bottles on the counter. I stated it was 24 when I ordered and he went off and got another case. I hadn't checked back on here until after so I did think it was for 24 so would have argued the point but to be fair they were very good and there was no questioning or bother. I see its been pulled now though so obviously a mistake. Fair play to them for honouring it.

Lea Valley store: I had to argue with the "Assistant Manager" or was he the assistant to the manager?
Either way, he apparently muttered 'w**ker' when he went off to (pretend to) phone the regional manager who said they would honour the deal because I had already paid.

Just had a call from the store saying that they have ran out of stock and will not be front anymore.

Just logged into my account and order has changed from 24x330ml bottles to 12x330ml bottles.

Just realised my order email doesn't show the quantity.

Just took a call from Edinburgh branch - order being honoured but yes, it was a pricing mistake and the page is now down. Pickup tomorrow afternoon. Thanks OP, I just got in under the wire!

My Bristol store (Westbury-on-Trym) agreed to honour it as they could see the website offer when I asked them to check on the computer after the online order had gone through. Person I spoke to was very helpful.

My local Reading branch honoured, informing me that is has now been removed from the site.

No problems, they were happy to help.

Sorta worked. I had to show the manager their website with the offer. He agreed.

Local store (Southport) has just phoned and cancelled my order of 3 cases. Gutted.

I've decided its not worth the effort as the email confirmation does not show an amount and my online account shows 12 bottles for this price.
I have called Majestic on the website number and cancelled the order.
They've apologised profusely and said they are having website issues and as a gesture of goodwill have said they will send me a bottle of Prosecco.
Lets hope I at least get that for the hassle.

Purchased, thanks OP - love Bitburger! Took a screenshot of the payment confirmation page which said 24x330ml bottles and intend to take it to store with me in case they try giving me 12.

I had to work very hard to get mine. The manager was not honouring it, despite me showing him the web page and my online order which showed 24. In the end I managed to get him to call head office and they told him to honour it. I won't bother again with Magestic as it was a lot of hassle and the attitude stank.

I'm in my local now, they are honouring it for me

You'd think after 4 hours that the website would be throwing up some alarms to Majestic and if its 12 bottles, the site was altered.

Parden the punt but I "Bottled" it as I did not want the hassle of arguing over the amount of bottles if I turned up at the store and as mentioned they were only going to give you 12 bottles!

In their website in my orders it shows 24 bottles. The email doesn't state how many

Looks like it will not you complete standard delivery so they will charge £8.95 for delivery.
If it for only 12 bottles and you have paid via Paypal can you claim your money back?

FYI these are 330ml bottles, not the usual 500ml. Still an excellent price though
