Getting the back off doesn't look like that much of a head-scratcher to be honest.

Battery only lasted 3/4 years on mine and it was IMPOSSIBLE to get the back off to cheaply replace the battery. So factor in a £5 battery replacement at a jewellers in the next few years ;-)
Light also stays on for literally 1 second, which is annoying really. Wouldn't get another one sorry.

For £9.99 you just by a new one, £2.50 a year for knowing the time no brainer really.

 3 to 4 years out of a £10 watch is acceptable in my book, even if the battery wasn't user replaceable. The reality is though, it has 4 small philips screws on the back which, when unscrewed, releases the back of the watch and the battery is easily replaced for about a pound.
What tends to go on these watches before anything is the resin straps. They tend to split and then cost more than the watch is worth to replace, which is why I always use metal straps now. Last one I bought with a metal strap is still going strong after about 8 years.

I had one of them.. bought as a christmas present i think from my brother. Had it a good 9years before needing to change the battery.. required a CR2032 battery. When the battery ran out, pain in the to replace, ended up throwing it in the bin.
On the back 4 tiny screws, easy. then a thick piece of plastic, underneath, a couple more screws, and then a plastic retainer to stop it falling out.. which is locked in place and trying to remove damaged it, and i still couldnt remove the old battery. Finally managed to put in a new battery and then it wouldnt work.

I believe it can run Crysis, I think the refresh rate is 1 pixel every two hours.
So it might be a little laggy at full resolution.

I was also pleased to see that there's a clear plastic protector over the face.
This watch is perfect for men who are into indoor and out door activity like climping, running ect.

I hate this watch (not really). Had one bought me as a present about 12 years ago, and wasn't that thrilled with how it looked. I'm that mean I couldn't justify buying a new watch until the battery went.
It's in my sock drawer now and still going strong. It'll still be running after the apocalypse when only cockroaches are running round.

Maybe that time the cockroaches will be running the place and need a watch to tell the time.

its not the back thats the problem.. its what underneath... as mine ran out and i decided to replace the battery. a cr2032 which i had previously bought via ebay.. for various items, like the electric weighing machine...
I removed the 4 screws <
I took it apart again.. re-examined, removed the battery and tested it, full power, put it together for the 2nd time and still didnt work... ended up throwing it in the bin.. It should have been simpler.. remove 4 screws, remove black sticky backing, undo screw to remove battery holder, remove battery.. put in new battery and replace everything.. but no.. they made it harder due to the white plastic.. seems to need a special tool to remove it.

I had a bad experience trying to buy this watch.
First Argos refunded my payment without explanation. I tried to order again and noticed that it was out of stock in my local store, so I ordered it to the next nearest store, and this time it seemed to work.
However, today, when I got home after collecting the watch, I found it to be a different model! I expected
W-210-1DVES (https://www.casio-europe.com/euro/products/watches/collection/w-210-1dves/) but I actually received a bright blue F-108WH (http://www.casio.com/products/watches/classic/f108whc-7a). It is going back tomorrow...
