Caffè Nero give two stamps instead of one if you use your own cup. As you get a free drink after collecting 9 stamps this is effectively 1/9th off or 11%.
Note this also applies to free drink with o2 priority on Tuesday's so you can get 2 stamps for free!
Some staff seem to forget so may need reminding.
I've known about this for a while but never managed to find anything on their website to confirm the policy.
The app gives you bonus stamps as well (I haven't figured out how or what triggers them tbh) but you can get stamp+card in one go with contactless, which is nice.

I've never paid for a drink at Nero, but I've had over 100 drinks

I've never had a single stamp from the o2 thing.

You should ask then. It actually says in the t&cs on the o2 priority app that you can get a stamp.

This is great, more companies should start offering incentives for being environmentally conscious. Discounts for glass jar trade ins, perks for using your own carrier bags and bonuses for using less single use plastics etc.
Well done Caffè Nero

I agree. If you look at the mse article I linked to it says what each of the big coffee chains gives for using your own cup.
Most offer a small discount but I posted this extra stamp deal as didn't think it was well know about that Nero do this, unlike some of the other chain's offers.
It's a shame that supermarkets stopped giving extra loyalty points for own bags when the carrier bag tax came in.

I have about 20 cards each with one stamp.
They are all hidden about the flat, car, mums house. Its just a case of finding nine of them

They have finally brought an app out.
As I generally pay contactless on my phone,I often don't have my wallet,so never had those cards with me.

There's still a rough size I imagine - I.e if you take a sports direct mug and ask for a small cappuccino, you probably wouldn't get it full. !

That or a very weak drink!
They have preset buttons for different sized cups so depends how the barrista is feeling that day

I'm not sure what their rules are around cups but I take my own 0.35 L / 12 oz Bodum insulated cup which I think is about the same size as their large cup and have never had any problem using it in various branches.
