Yes, I suspect that would fit in your top pocket lol
I had one of these, the worst speaker ever put into a radio. I love my other Pure radios but avoid this one unless you only ever want to use the 3.5mm jack.

i have RF type shielding in the windows and will need an external aerial. GPS has trouble even in my ford focus as it has a front windscreen heater.

Got this in my car. USB permanently charges it and an excellent signal through the aux connection.

Need one of these for the car as my Renault Zoe only has an FM radio so I can't listen to Five Live or Talk Sport.

Not a massive downside but doesn't have AM as mentioned in the OP's spec.

That sounds like a massive downside to me, are you sure?
The battery power is really low for this type of device - about 40% of average.
I don't think any pocket dab radio has am radio.
The usb is a bonus.

Looks good, but reviews say it has very poor battery life, but still good for the money

Just picked mine up and it looks a bit different to the photo on the website - looks like they've updated the model recently. Had a quick go on it though an seems ok - and according to the manual this 'newer' version has a 1000mAh battery so maybe it'll last longer than others have found previously.

I've purchased today and also got the different design, more iPod like, which I prefer.
Using it as an in car solution, much cheaper than highway brand. Uses the aux cable as the aerial and has found/tuned 20+ channels with ease. Reception is good inside the car. Thanks OP.
Just be aware that the Amazon reviews of the Majority DAB alternate between glowingly uncritical and realistic/critical. According to one honest reviewer it comes with a voucher encouraging you to leave a positive review.

Been looking for a cheap way to get DAB in my car - managed to Reserve one even though it's out of stock in most of my local stores! So all I need is an AUX Cable to use this in car?
polarbaba to Captain.HUKD
12 May 17#32
yes the aux cable input to your car stereo should be sufficient.
I am.actually a bit concerned given the new laws and being fined for using mobile, GPS etc, we could potentially get a fine for changing the radio channel. I am all for being vigilant, safe and law abiding, but this is a concern.....
of course one should never do something that could distract ones driving ( had to put that in, in case it wasn't evident).

Well I left mine playing DAB radio on headphones (with backlight on all the time) and it's still going 9 hours later. I was trying to drain the battery thinking i'd give it a good charge and take it out for a test on a full battery over the weekend. New model seems much better than the old one for battery/power use.

Have reserved one for collection in the morning. The model you got looks to be better though so hopefully mine is also same.
Had a Google this evening and found another Bush model DS405 which looks identical to yours, is it possibly the DS405 you got?

That's the one, seems much the same function wise as the other model, came with cheap in-ear headphones and a usb cable.

Picked mine up today and it is the same Ds405 model you got.
Manual states it's a 1000mah battery so definite improvement on the originally indicated model so would expect a much more usable playing time.
Rechargeable battery with micro USB socket for charging is a major bonus. Will use wee power pack as backup if required.
Very happy, cheers OP

No DAB+ with this Bush model? That's probably why they are clearing stock.
