Just been into the Tesco Extra Holmbush store and they had these on clearance for just £12.50 on the shelves. They have a few more in the back and I was told that other stores in the area still have stock so I'm assuming it could be a national deal.
RRP: £50. Cracking price, Amazon currently have these on sale for £42.99

Great price, rubbish product. I've tried WeMo lighting, insight and regular WeMo plugs. Their connectivity is flaky at best.
That is despite having a decent wifi strength across the house.

None in the Elmers End Tesco, but they still had the empty display out...
If anyone knows of a Tesco around London which has these available, please PM me!

Sounds an interesting product but can I ask what is plugged into the sockets which would benefit from being controlled remotely? I can only think of a free standing lamp and then that wouldn't interest me.

I left my bedroom heater on when I went to work, turned it off whilst sitting on the fast train to London.

TVs and stuff normally left on standby....
I have my TV unit with 2 consoles, PVR, soundcard and firestick, an extension coming from a double socket and the smart switch turns the whole extension on and off but the PVR is in the second wall socket so that stays on all the time for recording purposes

snatched the only 2 insights, 1 switch and starter kit left in the shelf in Swindon thanks! Have some heat
The Sonoff s20 wifi switch can be had for about £9 on eBay and works really well if you don't want to chase the geese.

Just got the last one on the shelf at The Meadows in Camberley. The shelf label still said £45, but went through the till at £12.50.
Their system said there should have been 4 more, but they were nowhere to be found. Still happy to get one to go with the other 2 I already have which I paid £35 for.
Thanks OP

Just picked up the last one in Port Glasgow. They also had the light starter set for £33.75. You have to ask at the electrical desk. The lady also showed me a wemo camera , not sure what it was but there was a ticket on the shelf for a camera at £20, again not sure if it's that one. Guess it's worth asking at the desk if you are in a store. Heat added
