Why not get Origin access for £3.99 a month, you get the Full games listed with ALL DLC which you dont with base BF1 you get a years worth of play for just over £40 and you can cancel at anytime, I tried it for a few months, well worth the money as you get Battlefront and lots of other games included.
Here's an updated list of steps for linking your PSN/Xbox and Origin account:
- Download and install Origin from http://www.origin.com/download
- Log into Origin with your Origin account.
- Click on Friends -> Add a friend.. in the menu bar in Origin
- Click on Connect next to PSN or Xbox
- Sign in with your PSN or Xbox account
- Ignore/close the friends import window
If there was no error message so far (besides maybe "No friends were found"), both your accounts should be linked now. It might take a few minutes until your PSN or Xbox account will show up under "Connected Identities" at your account management page (https://www.origin.com/account)
In case there has been an error (e.g. this account is currently linked to another Origin account), please contact a Game Advisor at https://help.ea.com/contact-us who will be able to look into this for you and who can assist you further with correcting this issue.
Hope this helps, let us know if there is anything else.

Granted I've not played a whole lot but I've enjoyed what I have played , couldn't sit there for 4+ hours a session though as that would get boring , agree with the SP comment , was pleasantly surprised by it , Titanfall 2 also had a really good single player

The makers of BF have been milking the DLC for a few versions now - charge £40 to £50 for the game and expect mugs to pay another £50 plus for DLC that they drag out over 12 to 24 months.
The video suggests, to me, that users have wised up and instead, rather than being tied into some game and the whims of the developers as to when they release the maps, DLC, etc, prefer to simply opt to a new and different game. Makes sense to me.
Good enough. I am not a fan of the way in which DICE/EA try to shaft their loyal customers through this DLC guff.

Interesting. I got rid of my copy of BF1 because of DLC and the sheer number of other games to play atm (including my backlog)....there are quite a few MP games all shouting to be played.
I did enjoy the game though and intend to buy again when all the DLC is out and EA do a BF1&season pass cheapo bundle, which they always do and another reason why I got rid.

Or because it got repetitive and boring :smirk:. I got bf1 for free and stopped playing it after 2 months. The SP though was class.

looking at going for digital for 2nd ps4 and game sharing, but that £16 for titanfall 2 was too tempting

It depends if you are bothered that its a digital copy of the games but personally I have had no desire to sell either game. If you play online a lot then battlefield 1 will keep you hooked for a good while.
I watched an interesting video on Youtube last night which analysed the useage figures of BF1 since its launch - the PS4, Xbox and PC were all covered.
Basically the game had a massive sell during the first week or two of the game and the useage was basically level right through to the end of January. Then, in January players on all 3 formats simply dropped considerably in playing it. The charts showed a big drop.
This was explained as a lack of content in the game when launched and a delay in any new content - the DLC's - being available until March.
The video argued that once a player leaves a game he or she is loathe to go back to it after a break as this then involves a considerable amount of time and effort to get back up to speed on new maps, re-learning to use the weapons, etc, etc.
It was interesting video - I thought the bit about how once a game begins to lose player's interest was particularly interesting as that could apply to any game.

Hey man could you link me that please because I have done that with games in the past and most recently Overwatch, bf1 and up until recently Rainbow Six.

Or because everyone went back to work/school after the Christmas holidays and decided to join a gym :laughing:

Pretty much what I did. Whilst it's a great game it's still no Bad Company 2 and hasn't held my interest. Or, maybe at 34 I'm just growing out of games. I buy games a lot but barely play them.

Both absolute stonkers. Single player is fantastic for both moreso Titanfall but i'd happily buy these again on playstation if I hadn't spent so much on games this past month already.
