Actually, the post was useful, your response was pointless. You've obviously seen other people make it and thought you'd copy them to look clever, but you don't understand the context.
If someone says that "X is not a good price because it was Y in 2015", that's the kind of comment that'll earn a tired time machine joke.
If someone provides information about relative pricing, without the moaning, that is just useful.
What do you think Camel Camel Camel is for? Time machine owners?

Depends on your budget as you will be paying a lot more for a tv than can display hdr10 which pspro requires, this tv cannot display hdr10 its an 8 bit panel that can accept a hdr signal but cannot display it fully, you may get an improved picture over a standard led tv but it cannot display the full colour range that the pspro was designed to display as you will need a 10 bit panel tv
Intended use for medium sized bedroom, ps4 pro and streaming films etc

AV forum said the 7000 series Hisense was Highy Recommended and many reviews compare Hisense to the likes of Samsung and Sony but without the pricetag.
They are aggressively targeting those brands and seem to be doing a very good job. As said elsewhere they are a HUGE electronics company its just only recently they've moved into the Euro and US markets.
Their 2017 models are highly anticipated due to the amazing job they did in 2016 with their range.

On a serious note, I have been out of the UK for 4 years and never heard of Hisense. Are these just voted hot as they are cheap for OK standard? I am assuming they are mass Chinese made, and that usually means a bit lacking on some departments.
Everyone used to love Samsung and the Panasonic when I last bought a TV 7 years ago. Are these really the new favourites?

We don't know for certain if you'd need a new card, as Freesync 2 will be supported on current gen cards. Also according to Eurogamer while Game VRR is HDMI 2.1 standard, it doesn't need a HDMI 2.1 cable, so it is possible the 470 could be patched to support Game VRR, specially if it essentially FreeSync 2 under a different name. However both FreeSync 2 and HDMI 2.1 standard is actually rolled out we don't know for certain, I am personally expecting yes, as MS have already announced that Project Scorpio will support Game VRR, so I expect AMD have a solution to support Game VRR with their current cards.
eeeow, yuck.. who buys these cheapoo TV's

I bought this TV from Argos last week. excellent TV. The picture right out of the box is a bit dull and the dynamic settings are too damn bright for my retinas lol, so I ended up checking the TV calibration for this model on YouTube and applying it. I have to say it is really good and pictures looking pin sharp.
I play PES 2017 on the TV and it isn't bad either in the game mode, however, the colour need readjusting etc.
The curve is just slight on it that it is not noticeable, however this means poor viewing angles - the pictures looked washed out when viewed from out side of the viewing angles. This is compensated with that fact that it is a big screen and covers the general sitting and viewing area in the living room well.
There is a software update for this TV and it should come up when booted up. I believe it added the Freeview play and HDR or so.
A few apps are on it - BBC iPlayer, Amazon, Netflix and other catch up services. I think this is not a bad TV for the price. Just be prepared to apply the settings to get a good picture out of it.
Oh netflix on 4k isn't bad but netflix will add 1.99 to your bill. All the best.

Thanks for this. I saw linuxtechtips on youtube about hdmi 2.1 last night too (recommended to me by google - had clearly been reading my posts!) ... but I am confused. Would I need a new graphics card to use a freesync tv? I have an RX470.
I just googled and read this. Kind of suggested I would...
The curve is not that prononced, its only slight. Quite a good tv but expect a bit of backlight bleed its an attractive Tv though, there is a thread on avforums with pro caliberayion settings which is quite good. Grab it its a good price but please weigh the pros and cons of buying from Argos , i wouldnt buy from argos though .sent me a used fit bit and tried to sell me a used TV as new. once may be a mistake twice i dont think so!!. Would spend a bit more and buy elsewhere, but if you collect it you could always check packaging well . Be mindful this TV outer box will lift up , check if the bottom seal are cut on the ends. Hope this will help some one.

Having been a user this website since its infancy one thing ive noticed is that there's nothing like a TV deal to bring the argumentative, pedantic plantpots out in force ......
Quit being so stubborn. You made a bad joke, get over it.
Anyway, nobody said this site is 'useless'. This site highlights noteworthy deals; people's valuable input (as well as tools like camelcamelcamel) provide us with perspective on just how great or not-so-great these deals are. With this information, individuals can make a more informed decision on whether or not to buy the product at the time of posting.
Some only care about the present and may really want the item, so they disregard past prices, and that's fine. Others don't need the item desperately and are happy waiting for a lower price, especially after knowing it was once cheaper. Some of the counterarguments on here are just silly, I mean someone compared petrol to a 4K HDTV. Really now.

You seem to be the only person living in this "RIGHT NOW" mentality. Most people considering purchasing a TV most probably do not need one "RIGHT NOW." Most people could probably afford to wait and see if a better price comes along soon enough. A TV is a luxury not an essential that one must have, correct?
Why do you think Camel Camel Camel graphs are often referenced here? Wouldn't you say if the price of something was on sale for less before, it would be more likely to drop again than an item whose price is not fluctuating? So yes whether a deal is a good deal should take into account past, present and future prices.
