Agree that it is too sweet if made up to MPs recommendation but just add extra water and bobs your uncle. Nothing beats chocolate smooth if you ask me. Not tried choc mint yet but will keep it sealed until almost finish the banoffee. Either way this will be the cheapest protein we will likely ever get so cant moan for the price!

Have to say banoffee is pretty bad, it has a sweet caramel kind of taste to it, but a very strange acidic after taste. Mixability is one of the worse ive expereinced too. However blueberry is lovely, might be my top flavour.

Got the same. Pretty rank if you ask me. I fine for the price I literally couldn't care less, but the amount of sweetener it is insane. Bearable with milk.
While I was waiting got some of the unflavoured stuff, it's a revelation so much more flexible. E.g. just stick half a banana in to make an actual delicious banana shake, rather than some over-sweetened chemical concoction. And I love sweet stuff...

Just got a 1kg smooth chocolate to tide me over until the 5kg banofee comes. Sweet jesus this stuff is sweet, way too much sweetener imo. Have only tried ON stuff before and is far tastier at least in chocolate. Still for £22/5kg I couldn't care what it tastes like tbh, just dunno why they so heavy on the artificial sweetener.

It's your opinion. Yes, they are in food and protein but not in amounts you acculy need before and after workout and also its more about how quick they are delivered into your muscles. bcaa from powder is suppling aminos to your muscles in less then 20 min, bcaa from proteins in food has to be first break down and digested which taking between 1.5 hour to 2h. 1kg will be enough for at least 2 months so 7£ a month isnt much if you are serious about your form in gym... Bcaa, Whey, Vitamins and in later stage Creatine is 3 essentials and any personal trainer would tell you that, rest supplements is waste money..

I just picked today 5kg unflavoured for 27£ alongside 1kg Fermented bcaa berry blast for 13.5 and 1kg creapure for 10.5, paid 51£ total! It was mistake on webside when you choose pills or amino acids and add to basket with code PILLS it was took 50% off from whole basket. I haven't time to post this deal but I can see it was corrected now..
Protein flavours never taste like the actual fruit. Especially my protein, they're nothing like what they're supposed to be, chocolate brownie just tastes like a milk chocolate version of standard chocolate. I guess my question should have been - does the pineapple one taste like a fruit juice or does it taste synthetic like banana and strawberry?

If you don't have the milk equivalent, the water ones aren't so bad. For example, vanilla with water is fine, but tbh, I've had these shakes for so long that it's no longer about the flavour, it's just about the protein now, I just use 200ml and down it in one go, I should probably just go unflavoured to save those extra pennies haha

Let's be realistic... if your into bodybuilding it doesn't matter about the taste protein is protein. you don't eat chicken and wholemeal rice for the taste you do it for the numbers. it's 20p per scoop it's a chicken breast in less then 30 seconds who gives a fuxk about taste

Maybe with milk, but I bought it once and I only have protein shakes with water, and it tasted absolutely vile. In my honest opinion, the not so fancy MyProtein flavours are the best, vanilla, strawberry cream and chocolate brownie, they mix great with other things too like yogurts, oats etc.

At this price just mix with the minimum amount of water you can and neck it in one, that's what I do anyway as most of the flavours I've tried are quite poor.

I haven't, but I've gone for Mint Choc as I've heard its meant to be good. At this price I don't even care if it tastes **** haha.

While I was waiting got some of the unflavoured stuff, it's a revelation so much more flexible. E.g. just stick half a banana in to make an actual delicious banana shake, rather than some over-sweetened chemical concoction. And I love sweet stuff...

I agree with you on Whey and Creatine, I use both of these supplements myself. But vitamins (I presume you mean multi vitamins) and BCAA are just a waste of money.
