Lidl's prices are much closer to their cost so there's less wiggle room to absorb rises and any increase in raw costs has a bigger effect.

As previously mentioned Tescos are currently offering mangoes as specials - theirs will be 49p and peach packs for 49p. This Aldi deal could be a winner if it is for the mangoes they sell loose - which are large, up to twice the size of those in the twin packs; and usually selling for 95p each.
It looks that Tesco are attempting to price match here, as during past promotions their mangoes are typically priced @69p.
These are great deals to get the summer started!

I agree. Many things have increased - some disproportionately so. An it was an excuse to increase prices above the change in the pound. Although lets face it, people didn't really know what voting for Brexit REALLY meant.

I wonder when they'll pull the prices down to compete with Tesco who have nectarines and mangos on at 49p..

55p for 1 mango doesn't seem right. they can be for a pack of 2 from 89p to £1

The price hike is because of Brexit (or Aldi are ripping off it's customers - (as usual))
