well, lets hope there are some good deals from ee tomorrow (sure they'll be posted) because i'm desperate for something similar without all the tcb or voucher deducting nonsense.

Guys if I've opted for this deal 3 weeks ago would I still get cash back?if yes then how to do it?never used a cash back before. Thanks.

Nope mate, got to go through the link provided by the cashback website where they then track your purchase and pay out. The cashback sites only get paid by the provider if you go through their referral link, so won't pay out a portion to you cause you haven't made them any money.

Well I have been with three for years and thinking of leaving as in the Newcastle area I am getting speeds of 0.19 download and 0.54 upload. I have complained for 2 months about it and they keep saying there working on the problem. I never had such slow speeds in the 9 years I have been with three but now you can not use the data at certain times of the day because of slow slow speeds.
sick of it now.

I've got the same.
TCB says the initial amount may track lower then increase in three months time. I'm going to keep on my eye on it and check with TCB in August.

You're welcome!
Yeah, it's arguably better than the deal in this thread for most people - many will just be paying Three £5 extra for data they never will use.
I had unlimited everything last year, and never used it. For those who don't use 30GB of data per month or loads of calls, the 8GB deal is also very good, considering cashback:
8GB data,
600 minutes,
FAH & tethering,
£12 pcm, minus £55 TCB, ends up as £7.42 per month.

I can't seem to see this deal. The cheapest 8GB deal I can see is for £18pm.

I pay right now £18 on a 1 month rolling advanced plan for 600 min/4GB.
I called in to switch to the £15 plan that is on TCB without success. Anyone with an idea how to proceed this succesfully?

"Called in" where? The offer you mention is exclusive to a new contract initiated via TCB. If you are already a 3 customer you would need to negotiate a bespoke arrangement with 3 retentions team (that may even offer additional allowances), or leave either by cancellation of existing arangement (maximum 30day cost) or via combination of PAC, port to another provider's PAYG, new 3 contract initiated via TCB and PAC/re-port to 3 (total costs would vary).
AndyRoyd to Buckyball
18 May 17#32
My retention offer today was £15 for 30GB data, unlim mins+text on a 12m Advanced plan (FAH etc). I declined. Phone 333 and select cancellations, brace yourself for a hard sell, and if you still politely insist on receiving your PAC you should be put through to whatever dept issues PAC who will then make another offer whilst the conveniently slowest system ever generates the PAC.
Usually best to have some credible alternative deal to refer to whilst negotiating, otherwise you may have to create a ficticious compensatory deal that you have been offered from an alternative network cos of some issue with billing / service / coverage with a recent arrangement you allegedly had with that alternative network.
If you can't be bothered negotiating or listening to the hard sell and can tolerate the minimum notice charges, just repeatedly insist on cancellation (optional PAC) and initiate new contract via TCB.

Well this is the sim I was going to get - but I was gonna give retentions a ring and see if I could get anything better, but with the cashback, it's better than I think three will offer

Because I might aswell just wait out the three weeks - even though I could enquiry about an early upgrade I think I have just one bill outstanding

Don't rely on topcash back as I just got mine declined from the last deal on here .£50 gone in a flash and I have been with TopCashback for 6 years , I know how to make a claim but they kept it at tracked for over 100 days and then declined it when it was due for payment ..
HankHandsome
18 May 17#22
what makes it worse is that you can't chase it properly until after 6 months as well. i joined 3 in november last year for £25 quid cashback and i've only been able to get them to properly look in to it this week. if you try before then, you get their standard message regarding the minimum waiting period.

If your contract is up in 3 weeks, you should ring now. Usually, you need to give 30 days notice to leave, and that would be month 12, meaning you could get yourself a better deal starting at month 13.
