My Morrisons petrol station had both unleashed and diesel at 112.7p per litre

Do mine online via ocado and amazon, life's too short to spend to spend hours walking around Morrison's, kids in tow, and then lumping all shopping in the car, and then unload all in to the house. Much easier to have someone deliver it straight to the kitchen.

Only asking because if they can be stacked, it's potentially free petrol again like the old voucher scheme deal I used and abused.

Tucalito as you say Morrisons are hardly puting them selves out. Not being a Morrisons customer I can't judge their prices, how ever if you buy £40 of items on promotion or reduced because of the use by date or the item being a bit bashed, you'll get more for your £40. delboyd might be able to include some carrots for his **high** horse

mikesloper in the friend-liest possible way, if Supermarkets loose to much because people 'Take advantage of every loop hole' or thieve they'll only look for ways to recover the loss/es, possibly fewer or poorer offers. What goes around, comes around

Which? have just listed Morrisons as 100th out of 100 retail outlets - and I'm not surprised. The real laugh is that a lot of their customers consider it upmarket on Aldi and Lidl! :smile:

We regulary shop at morrisons but im a bit of a fuel snob and won't use supermarket fuel, but a good deal if you will.

Not off every litre. Last time I used it I filled up 120 litres but they said it was only valid on the first 100 litres.

What's Morrisons fuel like? Heard they use the maximum amount of bio derived components in it?

Can you only use one voucher at a time? On the old fuel save scheme back when petrol was £1.30+ a litre I used to buy £1300 worth of 3v cards over 4 or 5 transactions, transfer money back to my account and then use the 5 vouchers to get free fuel up to 100 litres or about 2 cars worth. This lasted 14 months. If you can only use one per transaction this time then it's a moot point, although just realised it excludes online ordering. Thought I could order 20x £40 items separately, then taken them straight down to morrisons for a refund and fill up with petrol whilst there.

Agree life is too short to drive to a petrol station, get out of car and have to fill tank. Then I might even have to go and queue up to pay if the pump will not take my card. So much easier to get my chauffeur to do that for me. I even get him to carry me out of the house and into the car when I am being extra lazy.

Never got these... so you spend more on food... only to get about £1.50 off your petrol (for 30 litres) that's cheaper elsewhere. Morrisons will soon get you paying more than £1.50 on your food products for sure!

Anyone else find these deals a complete con? It's not exactly much of a saving. Plus if you're going out of your way you'll burn that saving any way.

I don't find any supermarket overpriced compared to others. If I shop at Aldi or Lidl I usually end up spending about the same, except I can't get some of the stuff I want, so have to go elsewhere.

Ocado for me, just as cheap, don't have to leave the house, can get pretty much what ever I fancy cooking in the next week. Meal planning is what you need to do, then the cheapest supermarket is your nearest one.

HOT but sadly we have a large Morri's with 'no' petrol station. Asda, next door to Morri's, does have one though.

Not sure it such a big saving if you have a local Asda with a petrol station.

1st. Asda fuel is cheaper than all other supermarkets.

2nd Asda food is cheaper than all other big supermarkets (Excludes Aldi and possibly Lidl).

To gain from this deal you need to spend as little as possible on food (£40 or just over), and fill a very big fuel tank (when empty) if half filling a tank or spending £80 on food you've overpaid or under benifited.
