It's a decent city nowadays Liverpool. Makes for a good day out. It was pretty grim 20 years ago, but is thoroughly modern nowadays. Scousers love to have a chat and a joke; kinda like the opposite of those who live in our capital.

For the morons with the stereotypical views of Liverpool, who have probablt never set foot in the place, you are missing out. Besides being an incredibly friendly city (people will actually talk to you up here) it has great bars and restaurants, wonderful archtecture, great museums and art galleries (all of which are free) and the most incredible history of British and world firsts. Do yourself a favour and brush up on your history before making moronic comments. http://www.studentsurvival.com/guides/liverpool-firsts/

The Beatles Story is £16 per person, so unless you particularly expect to use the £20 OMG voucher, you can probably have your pick of similar hotels for the same price.

The Beatles were from Liverpool?
Wow! They should highlight it more, the city council are missing a trick there.
