why is everyone saying that they were disappointed with these? I'm kind of wondering what people expected from 4 curved poles and a sheet of fabric?

Got these at the end of last summer they were reduced to £2.50 and I wouldn't rate them. We used them once and went back to airbeds which are much more comfortable.

I used one with a self inflating mattress and it was ok. bit of a faff to put together but takes up little space in the car

A lot of people just chuck a sleeping bag on them, then complain they're uncomfortable. Like sleeping on your bed without a mattress....

I don't have 4 legs but do they sell one for people with three legs
Really? Technology is moving on so fast! Now we even have internet enabled camping beds. Maybe they will get a firmware update to increase the comfort? :man:

I got one of these from argos quite a few years ago, I started using it in the back garden to have a little bathe it was very comfortable, the only problem was that not too long after the fabric started to tear on the stressed areas ie the frame.
I returned it and got myself an aluminium box section type which was considerably heavier, higher(so not so good for camping in anything other than a larger tent), more of a faff to put together and nowhere near as comfortable as this mainly because in dips in the middle.

If you weigh more than 4 stone you will not fit on one of these. If you move, you will fall off or bruise yourself. The only thing less comfortable would be the thing Hannibal Lecter was taken to airports on. And even that's a close one.

"Hey Hannibal... you get that in Halfords?"
"No. Their camping beds suck. i got this in the Dreams sale."

voted hot, yes its not the best option but it will last for a lot longer than an airbed, that is why army use them.

We have some but don't use them as they are such a faff to put together. Useless for back packing due to the weight. We might use them again if we have a longer holiday but for weekends they are to much work. For comfort a sim on top is pretty essential but it does make for a comfy bed when they are combined.

Why all the moaning? These are fine, ive used them multiple festivals and camping trips.
