I purchased it and I'm enjoying it. Be aware however that currently it is multiplayer only and only has three maps at the moment. The game is in a sort of early access state. The single player is being patched in during the summer. It will release on disc later this year. The muliplayer is a 1 (Jason) vs 8 (Teenagers) mode. Sounds like Evolve and sounds like it could get boring but it honestly doesn't.
The graphics aren't amazing but it nails the Friday the 13th feel. Hunting the teens down as Jason is a lot of fun, however when you have to play as a teenager, it is so intense rushing to find parts and weapons in drawers to help you escape and then suddenly Jason smashes through a door to get you or randomly appears in the woods. It's like actually being in the films.
Definitely recommend it if you're a Friday the 13th fan.

Keep getting code is invalid when attempting to apply the discount. Any ideas? Done this 1001 times via their FB page but the last 2 or 3 times I've ran into this issue.
I'm signed in too.

Great and honest review mate, I've been looking around at reviews but none I have seen mention the things you have. I'm sold going off this. You should add these comments to metacritic before the idiots start commenting.

Thanks. I might do that.
There is a lot more I haven't mentioned because the player needs to discover them for themselves to get the horror feeling of the game too. The teenagers need to escape either by calling the police and getting to them, by boat, by car or surviving until the end of the round. The parts needed to do these though are scattered throughout the maps and their location changes so no two games are the same.
I really hope people don't rip it to shreds in reviews as this game was literally made by 4 people. It's not as polished as a game with hundreds of developers on it, but what is there is very solid.

So annoying that the PS4 version you're forced to buy it with the theme! Means I have to buy this £35 card rather than a £30. I know it might seem petty but a) I don't want the theme and b) I doubt there's much I'd use the spare £4.xx credit on at the moment :disappointed:

Buy the £30 card and pay the rest by your credit / debit card . That's what I do anyway .

Cheers for the feedback, going to buy this later now. I was on the fence, but I am a old school horror fan.

No worries. Have seen there are a few server issues at the moment so matchmaking is taking a while. If you want to play as Jason, make sure to set your spawn preference to him in the customisation menu. I've managed to play as him a couple of times today. Managed to track everyone down in one. Was great.
Opening post
Decent saving for anyone wanting credit.
