So I have been looking for a sim only deal and this one seems decent.
So the £16 deal is for "existing customers" however I am only with three pay as you go, yet it still shows me this deal. So anyone could pop to their local news agents and buy a £1 three sim, register and get this deal.
Otherwise it is £18 for new customers.
Great thing about this deal is that all 30gb can be tethered! sure that will keep some of you happy!
UPDATE: Hotukdeals member jaypr reporting that he got the £18 deal without the £2 off, but through topcashback, taking this deal down to about £12 quid, also worth considering if you like using cashback sites.

I have been with Three since September last year and have encountered no issues whatsoever. They called me last month to amend my package as I very rarely use minutes. They offered me Unlimited Data; Unlimited Texts; 200 mins plus 30gb tethering for just £14 p/m. An absolute steal.
Great deal and heat added.

Careful with this offer - it's for 'additional plans' for existing customers. Having just resigned for an £18pcm (same offer, £2 more) deal, I called them to ask why it was now £16. They said it was for additional SIMs only and not for renewal of contract.

Heat added. I've added this exact plan to my account this week for our Doris.
If you need a little more, OP. I get unlimited data, texts and 600 mins with 30GB hotspot for £19 a month. I've heard of people getting it a little less. Always worth an ask if you need it

Good if you use more than 30gb on your phone I guess... but not being able to tether all that data?? meh! I am sure for most people, being able to tether full allowance would be much more useful.
For me personally being able to use 30GB via tethering is a great back up should my home internet ever die!

That simple If you don't need a PAC, they had a full scale argument with me about why I should stay with them ( Indian call centre) eventually after about an hour being passed to differnt people I got it. Then I got final bill saying I was in credit , then 6 weeks later another final bill for £38 saying it was for my final month ( they said they don't bill in advance)

Voting cold due to the dependability of the network. I was with three for quite number of years after getting their offers but later realised that if you switch outside you will get good packages with dependable network. 3's coverage is very bad across the country. I moved to vodaphone rated as the worst provider but found better package , high data speed and more coverage than the three network. Much better sim only packages available now.. so voting cold.

Also, he told me something quite interesting.. Three are rolling out their new 800mhz band meaning indoor coverage is going to be getting much better! Nice!
So they sending out my new sim, should be here on Tuesday, then all i have to do is call them back, and they will transfer my current number over to the new sim card.

This offer is for new contracts in addition to the one you already have not to replace your current one. If that's what you're looking to do I'd go through to cancellations and request your PAC code. They'll offer you something similar I'd imagine, but you'd have to go through to the cancellations team to get the best offer.
