Does anyone know if you're capped at 3G speeds when roaming or do you get full 4g speeds on 3 mobile? I have a 3G mifi and was considering swapping it for a 4G.
Also it's coming up £22.75 not £20.89

You'll be extremely lucky to get anywhere near 3g speeds when roaming in a feel at home country because the speed is seriously throttled. If you do a Ookla speed test it shows good speed but once you try actually using the internet it sometimes feels like dial up speed so I wouldn't bother getting a 4g mifi if it's just for the roaming speed.

12GB EE also available for £21.84 but data validity is 6 months.

Can the EE data be used while roaming in the USA? I heard EE had faster speeds (LTE) than Three (3G) when roaming in the US.

Also its 2Gb x 6 months so no good if you want to use the full 12Gb on holiday.

No it can't, but from 15/6/17 it can be used in European countries.
Half way through last years and used about six gig to go. So sounds about right and includes feel at home! Even though after 15th june will only include usa and Australia. Can you buy now and activate in nov thats sux months time?

Keep an eye on your data with these sims.
I bought and activated one last July and had 5gb of data remaining up until this Friday but on Saturday it mysteriously vanished upon calling 3 they suddenly say my 12 months is up even though the app says I still have over a month left.
Then they tell me they have no idea why it's not working and need a few days to investigate it.

The EU roaming legislation changes come into force on June 15, so this is going to take away 3's 'feel at home' roaming advantage for travellers within the EU. This increased competition may impact pricing of these prepaid data sims. Here's FAQ's for the new rules.
I grabbed one of these sims for my dual sim phone just over a month ago.
I gave up waiting for the price of the 24GB sim on Amazon to drop, but I'll keep an eye on it for when my 12GB sim runs out.

The Amazon 24 GB SIM is valid for 24 months after activation, this MyMemory one as you say, a year.
Been keeping an eye on the Amazon page since their deal came back into stock a few weeks ago, but this is the cheapest it's dropped so far :disappointed:

It's dropped twice for a long while at least twice in the last 2 years as I got 2 or 3 each time. Of course if you need one now then this is no good, I simply pointed it out for those who can wait if they have plenty of data left
The 24 gig sim lasts for 1 year from the date you insert it. It's probably the same on the 12gig one I'd imagine

It's currently priced at £40.90, which, as it happens, is the cheapest it's been for months, though now with an advertised waiting time for delivery of 2-6 weeks.
My recommendation would be to grab this deal, don't hold your breath waiting for the Amazon 24 GB one to drop to £28.40 again any time soon. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01M3VJ2B2/?tag=ho01f-21
