Just shows how bad the v festival has become, they have to do a two for one deal on it, years ago it would sell out ...what was once a good festival has now turned into a line up for kids

I disagree, you have to like one, maybe two bands to get your money's worth at buy one get one free. For those that want to know this offer is on Day tickets and weekend tickets.

That's fair  Personally there's one band I'd want to see and I've seen them live already! It's a good deal if you like the music, but I wouldn't buy a festival ticket if there were less than 4 bands I'd pay to see

I won tickets a few years ago from dominos and I honestly felt like an oap and it was rancid. Folks pooping behind metal containers as they couldn't be bothered walking 5 minutes to the toilet - never seen anything like it. RIP off prices for drinks but that's expected with festivals but just be warned - it takes a lot to shock me but here and Leeds fest are crazy
Do you know if Micheal Mcintyre tickets are included?

12 May 17#66
This website is terrible. If you search for the thing you want it doesn't give the option for the 2 for 1 tickets you have to follow the links through. I put 2 in my basket and thought I'll see if there's anything else I want after adding more I went back to my basket. The tickets were removed, fair enough, but the link to get them again doesn't take me to the 2 for 1 offer so I have to go back to the start to add them again.
Point is you can't save on postage by buying two lots of tickets through this offer. You have to do separate orders. Fed off with messing about with it I've decided not to buy any!

12 May 172#71
I thought the same, and though I have never been, the general consensus is that the festival is looking a little worse for wear, and a lot of people within the festival / music scene didn't think much of the "headliner" acts. For me though, I love P!nk and at 2 4 1 it's difficult to turn down the chance!

Last few times I went to V was to see the likes of oasis, stone roses, Eminem to name a few.
The last few years line ups have been dire to say the least.
Just rinse and repeat of last few years acts.
First time I've seen them stoop to 241 especially this early in the year.
All festivals are struggling these days, apart from Glasto, gone are the days when thy sell out immediately simply because £180 is a complete joke.
The Isle of Wight £50 day tickets should be the norm these days not the exception.

I went for it. The music last few years has been really downhill for me too, but, inclusion of comedy, dance tents and the odd act here and there I think it's still worth it (when half price!)
It is worrying that they are halving the price though, never in the 12yrs I've been going has this been the case, they may be struggling perhaps? I remember desperately trying to get tickets at 9:30am or whenever it was on release day, I even bought a Virgin sim card to get pre sale after struggling for the first few years....

V Festival is honestly the worst festival I've ever been to. full of chavs and TOWIE wannabes. I went when the lineup was half decent too. now its the type of pop music you want to gouge your eyes out to. vowed never to return there after I got out of my tent one morning and there was a bloke shaving his chest with a bic razor. awful.

i was about to get these for my 20 something niece and nephew but looking at the line up have totally changed my mind, even they would not like this.
