A cheap fan in the middle of baking hot temperatures... Can't see stock being easy to find.

What is better, the standing 16' or the turbo floor fan? Both in stock in north london. Have AC already but trying to save on electric where I can.

we bought the floor fan a couple of days ago, it's more powerful than the pedestal fan and moves a lot of air

Just bought the gunmetal one from Kidderminster via Click & Collect. They had about 10 behind the counter that had all been reserved so they are going fast.

Happy to hear it, I grabbed the floor fan this morning. Currys were offering same day evening g delivery for £3.95 so went with that. I'll report back on its performance once it arrives

Floor fan looks great, it is quite noisy at speed level 1 though. May just end up sending it back. It does move a ton of air but it really could do with a lower speed setting.

A fan does move hot air around like you say, but it does have a purpose and does work.
What a fan does do is, it makes you feel its cold, and it CAN reduce your temperature. The ultimate goal is to make you feel cooler with these cheap fans. So it does what you expect it to do. If you want the room to be cooler, then you get aircon fitted.

Both have a purpose.
