14 nights holiday staying in a Casa in Havana, Cuba departing Thursday 11 May with Virgin flights from Gatwick £705.65 for 2 (£352.83 each)
Optional private transfer for £121.35 return
Just back from two weeks in Cuba which I booked with the Holiday Place and seen this late offer at the bargain price of £705 for two and couldn't believe it as the Virgin flights alone are over £500 return normally
We flew to Varadero for 10 nights and had 4 nights in Havana which is an amazing place to visit.
At that price you could even not use the accomaodation for all the 14 nights and travel to other places
We used The Holiday Place and they were great to deal with and over a grand cheaper than the same holiday in the same hotels with Trailfinders.
Or 3 nights B&B at the Be Live Hotel City Copacabana in Havana + 11 nights All Inclusive at the Be Live Turquesa in Varadero for £1238 for two + £130.95 for transfers TWO CENTRE
More holidays available departing Monday 15th May 14 nights All Inclusive staying in Villa Tortuga hotel Varadero for £1256.76 + £109.13total tranfers for two people HERE
Hope this of use to someone

Just beware everyone booking at the moment. I love Cuba and we were supposed to be going in a few weeks but had to cancel due to the Zika Virus. My wife is expecting later on this year and the FCO advise expectant mothers and people planning on having children in the next 6 months not to visit at the moment (and most of the other Countries in the Carribean sadly).
It says this about the Be Live Turquesa: **NOTICE hotel closed 1 May to 1 November 2017

The 11th May seems to have gone now but there is still the same deal for Monday 15th May for £1045.45 which is still cheap in my view.
Agree Havana seems safe, only anoyance are people trying to get you to take their taxi, sell you cigars or change money but just say no and they go away.
We had the Visas included with The Holiday Place but don't know if you'd get them in time with the post

This is an excellent deal. Booked something similar with a friend when we went to Cuba 10+ years ago. Varadero is a pretty yet somewhat sterile upmarket tourist resort. Our package included our first night at a hotel there, which was quite nice considering how long the flight takes, but then we spent the rest of the fortnight in Havana. Fantastic city - safest place I have ever been by a country mile - and accommodation is pretty cheap if you choose a casa particular (sort of a forerunner to AirBnB). If you are an adventurous traveller, I would strongly recommend this deal as a really afforable way to see Cuba, especially Havana. The mojitos they make are unbelievably good 8-) On the other hand, if you just want to lie on a sun lounger on a perfect beach with a beautiful sea drinking cheap cocktails, this would be an excellent choice too, although it might prove a little boring after a while. Admittedly, things might well have changed a bit since I was there.
One caveat: when we went, you needed a visa - I had to go to the Cuban Embassy in London to get mine - so worth checking if this is still required and there is enough time to apply for one.

Well that's even more amazing - sure looked different when I stepped into the booking process, in Havana last November and taxi/car to airport was 25cuc/$25 each way (will take 4 in a car at a push). Changing money took most time, airport and city banks slow/slow/slow, rate was pretty consistent tho and some atm's working if you don't use american cards. Cheapest deals seem to have gone now, but still cheaper than what we paid for the same flights.

Don't really do holidays as such that often, I suppose Egypt would have been the last one in around 2010.
Do lots of short breaks with plenty of football related trips including the Holy Land for a week a few years ago. I actually came home rather sympathetic to the Muslim cause having arrived with a totally different opinion.
I did pop across the 'peace wall' to see the occupied territories namely Bethelehem and Ramallah for myself. I did it on my Jack too, because none of the other bluenoses in my hotel fancied it  not even the more heavy ones who'd been released early because of the Good Friday agreement. Done Vukovar about 25 years ago too, just after the real nastiness had finished but whilst the war was still going on.
Perhaps what I deem a vacation is slightly different to others but I don't subscribe to the teachings of jealousy where a street cleaner earns the same dough as a cancer nurse so stick Cuba up there sideways, just saying.
Yeah I agree, in my brave new world every member of the Kennedy clan, especially that odious plastic provo Ted, will be held accountable for the money they raised to help the rebs in their failed attempt to ethnically cleanse the British presence out of Northern Ireland.
Well said Benjamin

This is awesome. Do a mixture though, Havana is amazing. Varadero is lovely but is very resorty (if that's your thing, don't hesitate). I just got back from a 2 week solo stint and I would love to go back. If I did it again though, I would squeeze in some other areas and venture to Trinidad. Good spot though OP! Good deal for the cheap flights alone!

Definitely hot, (in more ways than one) I love Cuba, Love that you can order a Pina Colada and they just give you the bottle of rum to add what you want. Also Club Havana Rum at the airport SOOOOOooooo cheap, around £3 for a litre if I remember rightly. Would take up the offer if we didn't have all our hols booked.
