Thanks OP
Can anybody tell me if i can cancel the DD as soon as £1 is taken... presuming it's a one-off payment rather than 10×10p. Thanks in advance

You're supposed to cancel after you've received the 8th issue. I've just cancelled mine after the 8th issue of 14 for £1 so they're doing a variety of offers. It is a one off payment of £1.

Yes you can, no problem. It is £1 - 1 payment.

Do watch out, from personal experience, that if you've ever had one of these Radio Times "intro offers" before then they may well apparently TAKE your order but never actually PROCESS it; all without telling you!
[That said, I've in the last few days tried for the 26 issues for c£50 with £50 John Lewis voucher. Time will tell on that one!]

I have a good record of cashback with quidco and TCB (just under £4k) and monitor most of it going through from tracked to paid but twice I have tried with buysubscriptions and neither tracked. It might be a coincidence and maybe the cookies didn't work on both occasions, don't know. Not like Enterprise renta car who always track but always decline.

Don't rely on the cashback. Mine didn't track last time and didn't show any clicks to merchant so I was unable to make an untracked claim (TCB)

sounds like user error (no disrespect intended)
