Personally I'd go for the new one s controller which you could probably get for around this price on eBay or on a deal somewhere.
This is because the new one s ones have Bluetooth so can be used with a lot more devices and the bumpers feel a lot better.
If you're into modding and customising then this older pad is better because there's a load of parts for it so you can make something inspiring whereas the one s is distinctly lacking in mods!

I thought this was bluetooth. I don't think you can get the version that doesn't have Bluetooth any more. I will find out tomorrow

All Xbox One controllers are BT and always have been.

No that's incorrect. Only the most recent revision has Bluetooth. previous versions use microsoft proprietary wireless.

Untrue, you used to have to pay for the dongle for PC.

I've done some more research and I'm 99% this is the latest version with Bluetooth based on the quoted model number. will confirm tomorrow when I pick up from waitrose. Just noticed three year warranty as well.

Yea. All revisions connect to all xbox consoles using the microsoft proprietary standard, for older controller revisions you needed a special dongle to use it on pc. the latest revision added standard Bluetooth.

Went for the £30 eBay one in the end John Lewis couldn't take my stupid one 4 all voucher things and not 100 percent sure this is the Bluetooth version seems a shame though being only £6 more for guaranteed brand new

Anyone know of decent cheap bluetooth dongles for PC?

Stupid question, but does this new version work with the xbone PC dongle. My PC does not have bluetooth but I do have the xbone original dongle. I think someone mentioned the pads work with the original xbone so i assume it would.
