Generally when products age they decrease in price mate. You already have a mug machine so why don't you buy four?

I'd bite of there was an extra controller or under £200

Yes, but you'll need the rechargeable battery back itself, which doesn't come with the controller

it's a good deal because unless you have a time machine you can't go back to November to get it at a cheaper price.

Nah defo not a good deal. It was cheaper in november so why is it a good deal half a year later?

Agreed, still though even if you didnt want a scorpio the S might actually be an accurate price considering how much I bought it for in November and what the cheapest price is at the moment. I will however buy the Scorpio a month or two after they cock up the price and drop it down when no ones buying it.

I know what you mean about the games and console not being that new. Scorpio will be significantly more expensive for not that much of an improved gaming experience, especially sans 4K tv. I'll be getting a bit more mileage out of my Xbox one S before deciding whether to pick one up, or to move away from gaming altogether. An iPhone-esque upgrade cycle just doesn't appeal to me whatsoever.

Considering Scorpio is going to be double the price of this (I'm going £399+ given what Phil Spencer said) I think this is a great deal for a great console. Heat.

Ya you're right, also just to clarify I mean the games with the bundle suck.
Although I believe the console is still priced too high. I got mine for about £169 - £180 back in Nov. I'd be interested to know how much it'd be when you trade in the games but considering I have the One and S I can't be bothered.
My original post is a bit ambiguous, I really mean at this price wait for a Scorpio.

Do you get an HDMI 2.0 cable with this console. Also do you need a charger for the controller. Never understood why Xbox required one.

you get a hdmi cable, not sureo n version, just plug it in and it works.
No charger included, comes with batteries, i presume you just use any standard mobile / tablet charger for this (android/blackberry type, not an iphone)

Why is this hot? The consoles ancient now and the games all suck.. Scorpio will be out soon too... although definitely get an Xbox over a p4.

If you know much about the Scorpio system, you'd know you don't need it, its aimed at hardcore gamers who want that extra power etc, all the current games and future xbox one games will work on this and the older xbox1 anyway so really if your not bothered by the best possible graphics a console can give you which to a lot prob wouldn't see the difference between the S and the Scorpion or all the other power it might have, id stick with the S, it'll be cheaper for one.

you won't get a brand new console for much less if less at all. I had same issue when looking at consoles as nothing really suitable for my son, in end went with this deal and got ea access so he can play FIFA and I get the 3 games.
forza is digital. other 3 are physical.

Buy the bundle, open it, remove games and then trade in.
They cannot refuse and if they do, speak to manager

Would they exchange the games as I need it for my son (8 years old)

Depends if they are physical or digital copies.
If physical then yes, they will buy them back off you, probably for £2/3 each for Halo, GoW, £10-15 for Forza.
You can probably find console on its own for much less.

This is an exceptional deal. If I didn't already own an Xbox One S this would be the deal to top me over the edge. 4 excellent games.

Surely the deal with the extra controller is much better, you can pick up GOW & Fallout new for around £10 each.

not much really. with 1tb there is more storage for games as they are saved to hard drive. It's not really a problem as external HDD is usable.
