Not sure how long this has been free. I didn't own it.
Single-player, HD (High Definition) Create clusters of same-colored tiles to clear them from the board. Sounds simple, right? The real fun of Hexic is in creating special patterns to earn special pieces. Create a flower to earn a starflower piece. Use starflower pieces to make another flower and earn the elusive black pearl. Make a cluster or flower out of black pearls to win the game. Are you up for the challenge? There are no refunds for this item. For more information, see xbox.com/liv…nts.

Oh, a quick search shows it's been free before. Not sure if it always has been. It's news to me
Enjoy if you wasn't aware.

It was free when the Xbox 360 was launched, I remember picking it up then. That was a while back now

This came pre-installed on my Xbox 360 Super Elite. I remember it was linked to the hard disk, not to any account, so you would lose it if the drive was (re)formatted.
According to wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hexic: A variation of the game called Hexic HD was later developed by Microsoft Game Studios (since renamed Microsoft Studios) and Carbonated Games for the Xbox 360, and comes preinstalled on all Xbox 360 hard drives as part of the Xbox Live Arcade service; it was previously only available by calling Microsoft's Service Center but is now available on the Xbox Marketplace as a free download.

Andromeda is a pile of overhyped ****, this game has been around for a lot longer and will still be played when Andromeda is just a bad dream. Keep buying the overhyped crap there sunshine, the industry loves you.

Comparing a recently released AAA 3rd person adventure game to a free puzzle game doesn't make a lot of sense. It also isn't either/or.

i wasnt comparing them in the least..all I was saying is, I'm enjoying Andromeda & have no intention of putting it down for this. I could replace the example for other game I'm playing if it helps. Haven't played any of the previous mass effect games so I'm no fan boy. I'm sure this is a good puzzler, enjoy!
