Ordered this a few hours ago - am still trying to work out if I should have gone for this, the Moto G4 (139 - amazon) or the Moto G5 (139 - O2 deal)...

I bought one when it was last on sale and I'm well happy with it.

G5 has better camera, this has NFC.
Personally would have gone for this, NFC is something I'd use daily, I don't care for snapping photos on a mobile really.
Good choice.

This is better than the G4 due to the fingerprint reader. Not sure about the G5 but this is cheaper. I don't think your going to go too wrong with this or the G5. If the plus version comes down to £150, (like a few weeks ago,) I'd get the plus as the 3GB of RAM will make a huge difference in a few years time.

I'd have taken Motorola for the brand name to be honest, better brand means better support (broadly speaking). I've been burned too many times on less mainstream or Chinese branded phones, and usually niggly things rather than total failure (e.g. weak Wi-Fi, slow charge patterns, etc).

Since CyanogenMod is a discontinued do these get updates?

Yes - Wileyfox said they will be pushing out a pure Android release at some point.

I ordered this in the morning as I wanted a dual sim phone as a second phone but then opted for the Moto g4 in white as that comes as dual sim (not fussed about ram etc as second phone)

I have the previous model , it has a known problem when taking pics in the snow , they are all over exposed , when I contacted them they basically said tough.
So don't be expecting any up dates.

Got this for Mum a few weeks back and she loves it! Think I paid about £100 though?
One thing though, for other users; How's the battery? First few days a regular charge was lasting almost two days, now it's only lasting a day. Same usage and when I look at the power management it's only the screen that's using anything over 10%?

Wileyfox implied on Twitter just the other week that something beginning with N was on the way...

Honestly, spend the extra cash to get a Moto G5. There's simply no contest.

Aside from a FHD screen and better camera on the G5, these two phones have similar specs.
Lenovo have done a major disservice to Moto G fans (I was one!) by not updating the processor or making the G5 a minimum of 3gb of ram. It's just insulting, but people keep singing the G5's praises. Madness.
The G5 is the G4, but (so far) without the ghosting fault.

The problem with most of the alternatives listed above is that they have larger screens. I prefer a 5" screen and this WileyFox looks pretty good. Shame about the lack of support (though I have a Nexus 5 at the moment which has been out of official support for a while now).

I bought this when it was on offer last month. Major issue is the camera, it's hard to get a decent pic! Any tips,?
