Weather Apps...! I don't understand the requirement. Look out of the window or look your postcode up on the web. I use BBC weather for long-term forecasting, but nothing about British weather is predictable.

Love one of the comments on google store.... "... I refuse to give this app less than 5 stars ..." they then give it 4 stars lol.

Because with an app you can just look at it as soon you unlock your phone. You don't have to go to a website, then search for your postcode. It's quicker and more convenient.

Yup and easily add more than one location. Quick lookup. Nice 1 touch for 24 hour plans. We'll with the one I use anyway...

You've just defined the requirement. What you use is a web-app. A web page which uses the same back end weather service, but displays it via a browser instead.
HUKD. I don't understand the requirement. I just go to all the shops myself ! Doing the same job, but with more effort.

An app is quicker than a web page. Location settings are usually on and get it alot quicker. Can your eyes tell you the weather in the next 6hrs?
Anyway. I use Forecaster, brilliant weather app

This app has some really nice graphics. I tried it last year, but ended up deleting it, as the the actual forecasts were the least accurate of all the weather apps I have tried.

For Apple users there is a Free version for both Mobile/Tablet and Mac version. Not sure what the restrictions are. The paid versions are £3.99 and £4.99 respectively, quite hefty.
Weather Live is a beautifully designed app with real-time weather condition background images. It offers relatively detailed data for daily, hourly, and 7-day forecasts, but what makes this app stand out is the highly customizable display. You can choose from four different layouts, each providing simple or complex details. You can also set which data is displayed in which order for each layout. So, if you live somewhere with a lot of rainfall, you may want the precipitation parameter on top. If you like to watch the sunset, put that time higher up in your layout. Plus, every morning, you'll get a daily report notification with the current condition and its relativity to yesterday's weather.
If you have an eye for design, but also want the ability to customize how you view your weather data, you'll be pleased with Weather Live.
Thanks Op, heat.

Never understood the appeal of these Weather app's, the BBC one is the best looking and most accurate for the UK. All the others I have seen are overdone bloat.

Terrible app, but at least it's free for those that want to use it even if it looks like 2009 in application form.
