Let's get it right, you all need to get a bird to slave away in the kitchen to cook you a proper curry. And if it's no good, slap her about a bit until she learns how to cook properly

Vegetables Korma has been discontinued. Shame as it was my favourite.
Not really much for vegetarians in the mains really. Even worse the veggie selection pack of samosa, pakora and bhaji are not in this promotion but the meat ones are...
Poor show by Waitrose.

Still might be worth looking in store if you're passing - I got the veggie selection pack last time this deal was on, plus chilli paneer and chickpea masala mains.

Also Vegetable Masala has been discontinued which was my favourite, the veggie selection is pathetic now

I got this deal last night — the veggie selection pack isn't stickered as a side, but the hand-held Quick Check scanner was counting it as part of the deal. Always worth using one of those as you can find things like this without that awkward moment at checkout if it doesn't go through :smile:

Waitrose curries used to be a treat, not anymore. M&S slightly better except for the lamb rogan josh which is revolting.

Unfortunately I can't click on the link because of my company's internet policy, and I can't find the deal on Waitrose's website, but last time they ran this deal the choice of vegetarian mains was much better than usual, and the ones I bought were very tasty.
Edited to add: just found the deal, and there's only one veggie main on the website, but there were three choices in store last time, so might be the same again.

It's a whole new range of packaging, so it may well be a new supplier. Most of the new range look like a few lumps of chicken thrown in very runny sauces; no texture at all.

They seem to have changed their range of Indian meals and they are nowhere near as good as they used to be unfortunately

Yes, we noticed the new range seems to be very variable in quality too. Waitrose have done this before, seems to be an almost yearly thing; bad, good, bad, etc. We always tweet and post on facebook how disappointing the new recipes are, every little helps!
