It's violent and bonkers. That's all you need to know but yes, 999 is an essential of you're wanting to get your head around the story.

I played this through PS+ without ever playing 999 and didn't like it at all, maybe if I played 999 I might have liked it?

Its a visual novel that splits between story sections and puzzle sections. In the story sections you make decisions to go through certain doors with people and try to make your escape out of the facility. The puzzle sections are you finding things and solving things to get out of the rooms you have chosen to enter. You will have ideally needed to play the game before this called 999 as it spoils that story. This game has a ton of endings depending on the decision you make.

Short story time - back when the new iphones launched and stock was hard to get, someone wrote a code that scraped stores stock and said what and how many were in stock, now combined with pushbullet (on your phone) it sends a notification when stock is found :smiley: Happy easter mate.
