Thank you for sharing!
Sadly £210 for 2 nights in Bournemouth which is the nearest to me.
Recently had 2 nights for £90 incl breakfast from a previous HDUK post.

"Breakfast not included" - This deal is not as good as the £25 a night plus £5 breakfast deal they had on at Christmas.

Breakfast is £7.50 pp on check in. Just mentioning in case it's useful to someone as I couldn't find the info on the web site a month ago and had to email their head office to find out.

Based on my one experience of the Edinburgh hotel...forget about it!
Saw the offer for the Easter Lunch...
1. Went online to book a table..ended up in a circular loop where you simply could book anything..strike 1
2. Found the number for the Edinburgh Hotel - called the number - could not get through to anybody to speak about my problem. I kept getting numbered choices but whatever button was pressed, nobody answered..strike 2
3. Sent an email to describe the difficulties and there was no reply at all...strike 3.

Dont worry, you are not missing anything, the breakfasts are not great at Village Hotels. Certainly the 2 I have visited now have been very poor

I found breakfast at Watford perfectly fine.

I remember that deal well. There was one date available for the whole of 2017 at that price. It was possibly the most misleading deal in the history of deals. Maybe ever.

The breakfast isn't too bad - Village are a strange mix of great value and high quality - although they've stopped doing hash browns and the ingredients definitely seem a bit cheaper "post Brexit"..

The bacon they serve at breakfast is cheap and tasteless. The sausages didnt fare much better either. And this was at two different Village Hotels.
I have also eaten a dinner in the restaurant and again, that was very disappointing, although Tastecard was accepted so that helped ease the disappoinment when the bill came.

Getting £160 for Chester. So misleading of them.

We stayed two nights at Bournemouth recently and found the breakfast poor one day but great the next. Room was large and nicely kitted out, and a good pool too. We had a decent meal in the restaurant, although the Friday £1 burger deal is misleading IMO.

Wouldn't go as far as to say misleading but its not what its cracked up to be. Bun & burger is what is a £1. The rest up from there is charged.

Went on there Easter offer to Farnborough. Highly impressed with the quality of their dinner and breakfast. Mind you the dinner options were not vast but what there was it was great.

Well, it's actually buy a drink and get a 4oz burger and a plain bun for a quid. It's different beef patties and different buns to the ones offered on the main pub menu, and the extras you can add are cheese, lettuce, tomato, and fries.
