Shame they amended the 'what's in the box' section now. Previously they had the bluetooth headphones down as being in there. People complained and TomTom sent them out as good will gestures so you got a cheap watch and free headphones worth £40 to £50.

Can you use Spotify with this watch?

What model is this please guys? I can't workout if this is the watch that has the built in heart rate monitor 24/7?

If it is I'm getting one, if it needs a separate chest strap attachment it's likely I won't.

I've had one for about 10 months ago and it's a fabulous watch, used daily for running, gym etc - in reality the actual real time battery life whilst using GPS and music is probably closer to 3 hours. If you just use the music element without GPS it'd probably last 15-20 hours but as soon as you turn on GPS it crucifies the battery. Great watch, heat added - I'm tempted to buy another but my wife would divorce me.

Got this the last time out with the headphones. Used to have an MS Band (v1).

Battery life is excellent (up to 5 days including a couple of ~5k runs with gps or using the music in the gym), the strap isn't that intrusive, it's much easier to see your stats while running because of the physical button rather than a touchscreen and the music quality seems fine.

I haven't missed having phone notifications (in comparison to the Band) and I'm not overly bothered about the loss of heart rate monitoring as I'm not sure how accurate optical HRMs are anyway.

The only other bit I miss is the guided workouts on the Band which were great for Tabata style workouts. You can set up similar on this, but it ends after one session of 8 x 20 seconds. Not too difficult to restart it, but it means that you end up with multiple sessions published to Strava, so you may want to set your activities o Private by default.

Funnily I had a check to see if this was still available yesterday afternoon as a friend was after one having used mine yesterday. Seems they've slapped a £2.99 postage charge on the orders since last time

Tempted to replace my TomTom multisport. Purely for the size reduction and step counting. My Multisport still going strong after 2 years of daily use!

Could someone recommend a cheap set of bluetooth headphones that will work well with this watch (especially if worn on the lest wrist)? I used to use the TomTom ones that I received as a set, but the sound kept cutting off every few seconds when running.

have owned the HR version of this for just over a year, whilst I'd definitely recommend it, the strap on mine broke a few weeks ago, and now having researched it seems like a common problem, at £25 a pop it's a little frustrating! that being said I paid ~£150 for mine...

I got one 2 months ago for £58. I m quite happy with it.
To listen to music you will need to download your own songs and put them in the folder in the watch.
Headphones: I didnt buy the tomtom headphones which were around £45 . I ordered QY8 headphones instead for £7 that can be paired with this watch. Recommend larger strap size for men.

Did a Tough Mudder wearing mine last week and it was fine, handled the mud, ice and water no problem!

Never buy a tomtom product. I followed their instructions to the letter on a recommended update and it killed my satnav - they refused to repair so I will do what i promised them I would do and warn people at every opportunity.
