To make this deal work you need two people. If you factor Amazon vouchers which are sent via email within 90 days, this contract works out at £4.83 a month which is a stonking good deal.
To make this work you need two people to purchase.
Both refer each other as a friend to three, both get £25 each time. 2 x contract = 4 x £25 Amazon voucher. £50 each. https://www.three.co.uk/refer-a-friend

This is the essential plan so no personal hot spot or feel at home. Just thought I'd mention in case this is important.
First to sign should use quidco and then refer to maximise.

I bought two of these contract in September last year, First via cashback and then referred 3 people. I got cash back paid in December but no vouchers for any one despite claims were submitted before end date and accordingly. Called Three several time, was told I will get them but nothing for any of us. I would not trust Three for any promise, would go for cashback via Topcashback or Quidco.

Same here! I was referred by a friend and between us we took out 5 contracts. None of us got any vouchers. When it clicked we chased them up but they fobbed each of us off. Eventually I was given a credit to my account as a gesture of "goodwill" but this is false advertising and yet they continue to do it. Beware!!

voted hot but as other have said, i signed up for 'refer a friend' deal last year. No amazon £50 despite meeting all criteria. Even called 3 to check everything went through. Managed to get £25 credit to both accounts after several calls though.

Good luck with anyone who tries to take out a contract with 3. I've been trying to register my details online with them for over a week to take out 2 SIM only contracts on the back of this referral. You can't. The website is broken, you can't register details & they have no idea when they can fix it. This means all your "admin" needs to go through customer services - which means you can't take advantage of cashback or referral schemes like this that require online servicing. Welcome to the 1990s.

This Amazon voucher money stuff's NOT being honoured is somewhat scary, huh?.
Nice as all this initially sounded, I'll pass thanx!, lol, as I'm on the same Network 3 Plan anyway?.
So, no point me running into the forest, if i'm unable to determine the wood's from the tree's is there?, lol.

Yep same here. Never got referral vouchers. Absolutely useless when you contact them about it too. Hopefully they choke on the money.

If you prefer doing effective prices then that's fine. I don't. It's still going to be £9 a month leaving my account regardless of when any cashback might arrive.
If the cashback arrives after 6 months then fair enough, but i've still been paying £9 a month up until that point and i'll likely still be paying £9 a month going forward unless I decide to use that cashback to pay off the remaining months of the bill.

No it doesn't.
Three operate a minimum period of 90 days before any cashback can be submitted for approval.
Once it's been submitted then there's a further 12 week period before any money will actually be released, so you're looking at around 6 months before you see any cashback at all.
i've been told by multiple people that this is standard for three so it renders any "effective" price worthless.

Topcashback will match Quidco and add a top up (1% or 5%) depending on membership level.
But, even at £52.50, it's marginal and Quidco saves the hassle.

This is still my deal from a few weeks back. I also can do the required thing.

You just mean because the £45 arrives after 6 months, or something else? £45 six months into the year is still worthwhile for me, certainly would be part of my own effective price calculation.

Quidco seem to be doing £50 cashback for the Advance Plan tariff, if it helps anyone. (£3pm more)

£50 for the above tariff, but you have to scroll down when visiting Three.
