Even ignoring the cashback the monthly price they are offering is much cheaper than elsewhere... definitely hot!

A word of caution - most three cashback deals don't track. Loads of complaints. I'm still waiting from July!

They do have a 99.11% "satisfied" rating from 3.2k completed transactions, Maybe you are just unlucky?
Mine has tracked already from a purchase about 2 hours ago

They do actually track but Three impose a minimum 90 day waiting period before it can be submitted for approval and then a further 12 week period before it will pay out so you're looking at a minimum of 6 months before you actually get paid any cashback.
As I said in the other Three thread, it renders any "effective" monthly price meaningless.
I'm paying them £12 a month but getting unlimited minutes & texts with my 8gb of data. No feel at home or tethering though, but i'm not bothered about that.
This was on a couple of weeks ago with £60 cashback. Here
Quidco are currently offering £50 and will match TCB through their highest cashback guarantee.

Your right though that was just a 24 hour deal, I Suppose if you have Quidco you can go through the process of the "guarantee" however it's just an extra step.
Also Quidco don't have the 12GB deal

Three tracked on quidco for me but then just got declined for no reason. This was three months into the contract so I could not cancel it. I have had to raise a claim but it could go either way. Still a good deal but just don't assume you will receive the cashback!

The 24 hour deal lasted for over a week before they reduced the cashback. Also, Quidco do have the 12GB deal. It's there when you click through. I checked before posting;). I only mentioned the Quidco guarantee because a lot of people don't like TCB and would rather take that extra step.

never bothered with tcb/ quidco before. do I just log onto tcb web site and the rest is self explanatory. noticed their 4gb is £9 compared to £12 buying directly with three

You sign up to topcashback or quidco. Then you need to go to the website(THREE) through the cashback site not through any external browser as the cashback will only track when linked to through the cashback site. I use quidco as ive had more success with them but topcashback is ok

just so everyone knows the 4gb option is the essentials plan and doesn't offer the feel at home offer. so its the same price as going directly ,but would include cashback

I went for this a few weeks ago and the £55 cashback tracked OK.

I don't think it's an issue with cashback tracking - it's an issue with 3 not honouring it. Just because Quidco/TCB have tracked your transaction it doesn't mean the merchant (3 in this case) has to pay up.

I'm an existing Three customer, with my current 12 month SIM Only contract up in a few days, can't get Three upgrades to offer me this deal, do i just have to cancel my existing contract and sign up again?

Yes, you could PAC your number to another network briefly on PAYG if you want to keep your number. I have always managed to get what I wanted with 3, sometimes takes a few tries to get the right person to help.

Kind of a BIG irony that, huh?. :-)
Hmmmmmmmmm, I've had 'similar' in the past too (though noted, it was via different Networks at the time!, but still?).
Trial and error really?.

Yeah "feel at home" isn't included in the £9 if you read my post it doesn't say it does

alot of comments 'not tracking'. check your browser extensions. these won't track if you're using adblock/ghostery in your browser. must turn these off first.

Would be a good deal but I find so many places where I do not get a signal with 3 mostly in areas in London. These are in areas where I get a signal from EE.

16 Apr 17#25
Does anyone know how bad Three are compared to EE with regards to signal/connectivity and speed?
Apparently the feel at home (roaming) isn't good connectivity and is much slower than EE.
I went for the £16.89 pm deal instead which includes 12gb data, unlimited Min and texts, tethering, BT sport's and European Union use is included.

Oh I always do that, I clear cookies and cache and turn off any extensions I have. My Three order tracked just fine.
It's just rather annoying waiting 6 months for just £25 quid ...

Torn between this and the BT Ultimate Sim deal (15gb, Unlimited text & mins & £75 Amazon gift card) for £16pm. Pros is use if the EE network and the Amazon voucher, but then in favour of Three ability to tether and use abroad.

I'm in the same boat, tried speaking to a couple of people at Three but they wouldn't offer this deal so I've now got my PAC code. I'm not desperately fussed by the cash back but want the 8GB for £12pm. Going via a PAYG SIM temporarily would work I guess but just seems like unnecessary hassle

While the deal is good, voted hot for the price alone. I jumped for this a week ago and have since tried using the 'feel at home' part of it which is what attracted me to it as I travel a fair bit for work. It's $***. I can't sum it up any another way.
You're limited to 3G when abroad the vast majority of the time I tried to use any internet, it took forever to do anything, in talking worse than dial-up (for those that remember) 56k would have been a blessing.
My fault for not reading more into it. I will be calling today to cancel, as I'm still within my 14days and have gone with Vodafone, who now over roaming on all their sim only contracts.
So if you want it for the UK great price, if you want it for a bit of surfing while on your hols, be warned it doesn't feel like home.

Reading through 'Important information about your order' it does say expect a RPI increase in May.
However still a great price. I'm currently on ID £12.50 double shockproof package which is decent but this is better value so got my PAC and off to THREE. Thanks OP

BEWARE if buying instore. No cooling off period. My current provider gave me an even better deal so I returned next day with unopened SIM pack to say decided not to go ahead and was told "tough luck, you are in contract for a year even if you haven't opened it". I had already cancelled DD so told the manager I'd stand at door telling everyone not to buy from the. Only then did they agree to cancel contract. Just so you know!
