Actually, this deal doesn't actually work out to £5 PM as the cashback is only £10.50 for sim only. More like £8.12pm . I'd go with the Three route directly that I posted above...works out to £4.96 roughly.

Looks like a good deal. What are your requirements in terms of minutes and data as there are cheaper if you don't need as much ?

less than £5? I'd be interested...

It's pretty good but you can get this direct from Three same monthly payment via quidco with £50 cashback which brings it to just under £5 pm. Only thing is you need to get a payg sim and join Three if you're not already a member for that deal. I'd go for your deal for the ease even if cashback is £8 less? Nice find. I'm gonna give virgin a call and see what retentions offer me, but if not any better I might go for this. Only negative is it's not an advanced plan which allows you to use your inclusive allowances abroad. Heat nonetheless.

This is a good deal.
I just checked Three's website and the Essential Plan for £9 per month from what I can see is open to new customers as well so no need to get a payg sim then join.
I recall someone saying on a previous thread that Three take 6 months to pay cash back via Quidco / Topcadhback, so if that is the case, be prepared for a long wait. Both still cracking deals though and with June 15 soon approaching and EU roaming charges being scrapped, surely you will be able to use your allowance in the EU without charge on the Essential Plan.

It is £48.00 cashback via redemption. Regular price is £9 per month for 12 months (£108) less the £48 = £60. Divide that by 12 and you get the £5 per month.

Depends what you need in terms of inclusive allowances.
There is an EE package at £2.99 per month after their cashback for 250 Minutes, Unlimited Texts, 250MB data.

Switched from Vodafone to Three, Disappointed with the coverage and speed, Vodafone has much faster 4G coverage, Also Three have had network problems, I've been with them 2 months and had 2 days with no service.
Hope things improve but once contract has ended I'll probably switch back to Vodafone even though CS is appalling, At least I'll be able to make a call .

Three/EE are great in my area and Vodafone is rubbish here.

ah my bad didn't see that on the original link. thought you were referring to quidco CB not redemption. I think I'd still go with cb via quidco and three directly as I hate redemption... but good find nonetheless

Oh cool, I never knew roaming charges will be scrapped in the EU. That's awesome. I guess it makes the advance plan redundant. Thanks for the info. Cool that that Three deal direct is available to new customers, I was going off what someone told me in another thread... but maybe best to get this redemption cashback if it's quicker than Three thru quidco... but all good nonetheless...

good deal, I've been tracking 3 for a couple of months. You can get the same deal for £10pm on 3 website without worrying about cashback as an additional line deal (works for PAYG registered users as well).

Not at all. feel at home is much more than just EU countries. I used the data reward sim in NY at Christmas as a backup.
Although yes, if you don't travel or only travel in the EU (and not until summer) then there's no difference
You're correct in that with Three you can also roam in USA, Australia, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka and Indonesia. However, Feel at Home allows you to receive calls, texts and picture messages and send them to and from the UK and use your data in the country to which your roaming in. But if you're in USA for example and want to telephone another US number you will be charged for it and this applies all Feel at Home countries.

Is Quidco with £50 cash back better for this deal?

How about free? Freedompop - they were posting out the SIM for free last time I checked...
200 mins, texts & MB, does the job...

We have had 3 Freedom pop sims waste of time. You pay extra to get clearer voice calls LOL Really terrible customer services. I have a 3 sim only deal direct with 3 £9 a month unlimited minutes texts 4gb data which will continue after the 12 month contract and I will not be changing unless something a LOT cheaper comes up.

You can easily set up Tesco International app etc and pay a pittance for a local call over the roaming data connection, sure wifi will be better but even if poor quality via data they can call you back
