I'm afraid it is. Its like trying to ride a real horse for the first time. The Ico controls were peachy compared to this - at least you felt IN CONTROL and it was your fault when you missed a jump in that. I think robgeorge put it perfectly in his comment.

damn really that bad huh? I found the ICO controls frustrating at times when you jump to your death but got through it, I do want to play this eventually, ill give it a miss for now.

Amazon were willing to price match this but not Gravity Rush 2 it seems. Bummer.
