Had a few of these in my time, different makes and models. My advice would be to buy one that a) tells you when it needs de scaled and b) is easy to de scale. Some of the ones I have had, including low and high end, were a blinkin nightmare to de scale. I live in Scotland and wrongly figured I wouldn't need to do this too often. I now have an iron that tells me when to do it and was surprised to find out its about once a month.
