No it is for blowing up tires. It is shaped vaguely like a compressor but it doesn't have an air tank.

These are fine, got one from ECP at Xmas for £12 delivered.
Works fine for pumping up car tyres, bikes etc and so far seems accurate.

Indeed a convertor or adaptor to make the end a screw on threaded connection would be ideal. Yet to find the right one. Someone more technical will hopefully know ??

Anyone worked out if you can get a different end to screw in that means it's like a normal footpump connector as the screw end is a pain?
the beauty of the screw on one is you can leave it to blow the tyres up without standing there holding it, especially if you have a flat as it may take a while.

Most definitely cannot be used with an air gun. No tank to store the compressed air.

Agreed. Good deal though.
I ended up getting a sort of laptop style power adapter with a cigarette plug on, more than suitable ampage or wattage or whatever apparently, but it was crap!
