Thought this was an excellent price for this steelbook with the films in 3D; especially as the cheapest Star Trek Beyond 3D BluRay I can find weighs in at £14.69.
This Zavvi exclusive Steelbook is a collection of the Star Trek films:
Star Trek (2D)
Star Trek Darkness (2D & 3D)
Star Trek Beyond (2D & 3D)
From producer J.J. Abrams come the third instalment to the new Star Trek films, with all of the main crew returning (Chris Pine, Simon Pegg, Anton Yelchin) with the additions of Idris Elba and Sofia Boutella. The USS Enterprise crew explores the furthest reaches of uncharted space, where they encounter a mysterious new enemy who puts them and everything the Federation stands for to the test.

Terrible movies.

I could be wrong, but I believe this collects together all the Into Darkness special features that were previously Wallmart / Target exclusives.
In which case, that could make this a much better deal for collectors.

Cheap I suppose (voted hot), the first two were refreshing, but Beyond was abysmal, I thought

But it doesn't have the IMAX version of Into Darkness which is better than the 2D or the 3D versions. Its region-free from US if you're interested and has the same cover as this one.

Uses the same artwork as the US compendium set, but this is just the film discs ie. no extras discs.

Seems good to me. I have a non-3D copy of the second one.

Darkness and especially Beyond were dreadful movies, but this price isn't bad if you enjoyed them.

They're okayish films, they're just terrible Trek. Like Star Trek Online, bless it. Tries so hard. Fails constantly.
Love the boxset though, looks lovely.

I can't believe I paid to assimilate that painful rubbish (Beyond) in Real 3D. A calamitous waste of money. It was so bad that my friend, a life-long Star Trek fan, fell asleep.
Currently rewatching Voyager. There is no basis for meaningful comparison, so none will be attempted...

Sadly, a boxset of one good film, one awful film and another dreadful one does not a bargain make, Captain.

I paid more than this for the first one alone! As I bought 'In To Darkness' also separate I will wait for a deal on a standalone 'Beyond'.

beyond was a bit poor. everyone seemed to love into darkness including me. and it easily took most cash out of all three at world box office. has a very high rotten tomotoes rating. but one day people decided to hate it. no idea why and I love the original series. hated TNG series and movies though. cheap dull rubbish

It was the PC SJW big mouths.
They objected to a white m,an playing an "asian" (he was based on Rodenberry's mate in the USAF CARL Noonien Singh) and then saying he should be played by a Mexican.....seriously. The same turds said nothing about the "Ancient One" who was an old Tibetan/Chinese man of very VERY old age, was played by a woman. But complained that Stephen Strange should be far eastern.....Stephen Strange who was a white westerner in the comics. They're doing the same NOW with "Iron Fist" the same arrogant peabrains destroying the comics these great ideas came from (sales have plummeted with their SJW lunacy)
Anyways, there was bits of the SJW mentality in Beyond too - its why its so cr*p

Ive got the 1st 2 but economics say to me to buy this. I can trade in my into darkness 3d steelbook at CEX and with the 1 pound voucher, get 14 quid credit. keeps the trek collection a bit neater ...

Good deal for a triple movie steelbook despite having 3D which even after 40+years is still seen as a flawed novelty aspect that still isn't a " must have " peice of tech!
Hoping for a Guardians of the Galaxy 1/2 combo as the 1st movie steelbook is still £50 to buy.

I agree that whitewashing/sexism is an issue in movie industry but getting a role or in 2017 showering awards to anyone with an ethnicity to temper the militant mouthpieces on the extreme left does the equality campaigners no good at all. Sadly the media is either far right crazy or far left black power extremists. ( truth hurt? Tough cookies !)
