Ordered for the little one, great find and definitely the cheapest price for the bike. Reviews are a little sketchy on the proper review sites, but more looking at it being ridden hard. As a beginner for a young girl this is a great buy

Ordered this for my daughter for xmas nice little bike for the money with an ok spec. If any one is looking for a better spec check out the Laura Trott Mtb1 at Halfords slightly more expensive but got a bit better spec.

I wouldn't deal with the muppets in my local Halfords store. I'm sure you get decent staff in some of them but not mine!
Would much rather support local independent cycle shops.

Completely agree however we are very fortunate that the lads that work in our halfords are avid bikers. Also to be fair it was our local bike shop that told us about the bike as the spec for the money was good.

I am surprised bikes still differ for gender. Thought it was a silly gimmick of yester-year. I don't jump off my saddle and land my balls on the crossbar. What do women do/ need that differs from men in a bike?

It's so they can mount the saddle more easily when they're wearing their mountain-biking skirt.

They don't ride at all generally, buy based on colour. 1 early Summer ride, 2nd ride encouraged. Then back in the garage until sold "as new" for less than half price.

Plus its a little easier swinging you mountain biking heals over the bike, you wouldnt want to catch those on anything and look stupid.

I am looking for a new bike and this caught my attention. Are there any bikes comparable for this price?

She is about 145cm, this will be a grower for her as needs to be about 150 for the small. But should hopefully see her through her teens

Best to go for Small. If a bike's too big, there's nothing you can do to make it fit you, whereas with a smaller bike you can make adjustments such as raising the seat.
