The A7 ii uses the same sensor, but adds in body image stabilisation, improved af, improved grip and shutter button placement. Maybe not worth the £1499 compared to this. Worth keeping in mind a new model is likely to be released soon so this price is likely to become the norm in near future I think.

And less than half the price for the kit in this deal compared to a D750 body only. As for JPEGs being "nothing special", if you're buying an enthusiast-tier camera at this price and just trying to rely on JPEGs you're sorta wasting your money. If you want to go out-of-camera, buy an X-T10 for the film simulations and better JPEG processing and put the extra cash towards the 56mm 1.2 for dat sweet sweet bokeh.

The jpegs are nothing specia but if you process the Raw files you can get some superb results. Being full frame you can also get much better shallow depth of view than you would from a cropped sensor. Image quality is not as good as a Nikon D750 but it's quite a lot smaller and lighter.

Problem is if you keep putting off buying the item you want for the reason a new one will be out you'll always be paying top price and own items that are worth less then you paid. I find it's often worth staying a step or two behind the curve where you can get decent value and the worth of the items are not falling so fast.
So this is hot to me !

I've used one and couldn't see much of an improvement over an A6000 tbh.
Lovely camera mind.

Good price considering lens if worth £395 on its own. Now back up to £999 though :disappointed:

It's good for portraits and Landscapes, but for weddings sports or even a bit of documentary.. Forget about it..
Used Canon 6D and their cheap lenses it's a winner in here, but great price anyway. Heat!!
Getting old now, but still a fantastic price for a full frame sensor with lens. Have some heat
