Agreed.
Got it for £49.99 June 2016 so this is a reasonable weak £ - strong $ inflationary increase.
Just retested mine. Not at fast as Extreme at writing, but I needed it for capacity.
It was permanently in my 128GB laptop SD slot.
My grandson has one in his Fiio.

Sadly my iFlash quad won't work with these 200gb cards in my iPod classic running Rockbox. Bought two, but crashes trying to copy data from PC. Seems to work OK with Sandisk 128gb but not the 200gb so beware.

Thanks, all done. They have a 10% EGG10 code which didn't work with that product, but the one you posted did, cheers.

I did wonder about FLAC and other firmware and whether Rockbox has the same limit.

Yeah it's about 64K before it starts to run out of RAM. But I'm using 16 bit FLAC with Rockbox. So I'm only going to get about 40,000 songs on anyway (assuming I can get everything in FLAC)

I hear you but isn't there a database limit of ~60K songs depending on tags unless you are using an alternate O/S which I am not? That's why I've stayed at 512GB via two fast full size SDXC cards which were £60 the pair via CeX; fully tested.

Shoudl be okay.. but you have to remember the write speed is slow.

Is this any good as an expansion permanent drive for a MacBook Pro, or is it too slow?
Thanks.

I'd say it's too slow unless you are just writing once and not changing the data.

I'm after something for my Tom Tom Go 500. Can anyone recommend a card that's a bit cheaper? I only need 32GB or 64GB.

Ordered 4 for my iPod classic  It's a shame that the 256gb samsung sdxc's aren't cheaper, since the write speed on these are terrible. Either way for my iPod classic only the read speed really matters, it will just take a few days to fill it.

Your google search points out a lot of grandfathers under 30 and to put it lightly not the best example in society
