This may not be for everyone as I know these sort of posts can be a wild goose chase at times.
I was looking to get a new TV today and wandered in to Hughes and they have the Samsung UE55KS9000 with the HW-J6500R Sound bar for £999!!!
I have been looking at this TV for a while and the cheapest I had found was £1199 at John Lewis.
The annoying thing is on the Hughes website this is £1199 still and does not mention the soundbar. But when I visited the shop was told it is on offer!!
I have uploaded a pic of my receipt to show the purchase. I did ask and they said they had more stock but will need to be delivered early next week.
I believe other Hughes stores showed this instock to collect.
Like I say I know this can be a wild goose chase but I was genuinely surprised by the price and thought I would share this on here and hope some others can snap up the same deal.
I hope this helps someone!!

That's a very interesting price. Excellent find OP.
How does the 8 series fare compared to the 9 series in this range? I've mostly been keeping my eye on the 7. But if prices drop like this I might go for a bigger upgrade.

Had 8 , bought 9 six months ago- you can see big difference in picture and sound. HD channels so clear, watching sports events in sport mode give real fillings like you in stadium. Love this tv

Both the 2016 KS Series? Reviews suggest the 8 is identical and most recommended not paying extra for the curve due to this? (Obv in this case the 9 is dirt cheap so makes sense anyway)

Thanks OP. I've just called in to order this bundle for the Colchester branch. They are OOS but are able to get them in. It only has 1 yr guarantee. It's an extra 100 quid for 5 years guarantee which I opted for.

Hmm... granted this is cheaper in store, but on the website it's a 5 year warranty and 10 year screen burn guarantee

Can anyone tell me what Samsung's QLED is? Is it just their name for an OLED screen?

QLED is not the same as OLED. The q stands for quantum dot, which were used in the 7,8 and 9 series in 2016. After reading a few 'unbiased' reviews there's little difference between 2016 quantum dots and qled. Samsung love creating their own little buzz words - such as SUHD.

I bought and installed yesterday Hinsense H55m7000... Paid 550 via JL price match with 5 years warranty. Is this one much better picture quality then hisense? So far I'm quite impressed with hisense price/quality ratio , however watched yesterday movie in hdr mode and lack of nits was visible.. Good price fro this as sound bar is priced 300£ elsewhere...

this is nearly double the price so its not exactly a fair comparison is it? if you are happy with what you've got why spend an extra £400-£500?

Retailers seem to be clearing out the KS series in favour of the newer MU series that's considerably more expensive and doesn't seem to offer any improvement in quality.

Reckon I can use this receipt to get JL to price match or does it need to be on Hughes' website?

Hey guys - for anyone who owns this TV - the specs say it has 2 x freesat tuners and 2 x freeview tuners. Can you use all four at once (i.e. record on three and watch another?) using both aerial and satellite cables?

Not exactly, sound bar i belive can be sold for 200+ ( or return for 189?) so is about 250£ diffrnace. Hisense is fine for price, but 800 for samsung is tempting... It wasn't in option as price for this was 1149£ when I was buying hisense. I may check hdr with this samsung taking my usb drive with to see how it perform in shop so I have direct comparison..

Are you kidding me? That is an epic deal.
I got the KS7000 for the same price in November, and I would replace it with this in a heartbeat! Great deal mate.

Does anyone know how much warranty do you get with this? The website is showing 5 years guarantee and 10 year screen burn warranty at the £1199 price. Does Samsung have 5 year standard manufacturer warranty?
I've managed to order this deal to my nearest store for tomorrow but if it's just 12 months warranty I'll give it a miss and spend a bit more and get an OLED from Currys.

The guy I spoke to on the phone said it's 12 months guarantee and sold me this package plus 5 years guarantee for an extra 100 quid.

I asked in store if it still came with the 5 year guarantee and was told that it does indeed, I didn't pay any extra.

I tried to challenge the salesman over the phone but he says the £100 is still required for the 5 year guarantee. Oh wells. £1100 is still a great price according to HUKD so il be keeping it. I can't wait to pick it up :]

I collected the tv yesterday. It's lovely until I tested an all black picture and noticed cloudy patches. Does anyone else have this or is mine faulty?
