Has Travelodge improved much over the last couple of years, or is it just the new ones worth staying in? Used to be a regular but it got so bad that I switched to Premier Inn and Holiday Inn Express to avoid the run down hotels.

I'm the same, I've even gone to village hotels now, way better.
But the old £9 a night was great for Legoland and thrope park.

I used to stay at Travelodge a lot but they seem to have gone downhill. Recently I've found that other hotels offer far better value in places like Brighton if you look out for special deals.
I've had too many bad experiences of cold showers, middle of the night fire alarms and appalling customer service at Travelodge.

I am trying to book for easter holidays for 2 adults and one child.
Tried both (one near chessington & one near legoland). After applying discount code you receive message saying"certain dates doenst allow discounts to be applied) so no luck for me.

Most of the bad experiences I've had, to be fair, have been caused by other customers. Maybe the higher prices will change that.

Can't book more than one room at a time with this code - a bit dodgy when you need more than one and have to roll the dice on availability

Do Travelodge ever accept dogs? (joking aside about stag & hen parties!)
We have a terrier that we have to take away with us.

Yes, I had to move rooms in the Liverpool Exchange Travelodge because the owners of a dog had gone out for the night and left it barking in the room - this was after midnight.

The Travelodge in Brighton city centre was the worst place I have ever stayed at and not that cheap either. Where would you recommend in Brighton to stay which has regular deals?

I wanted to stay for 3 nights but no free parking at Travelodge Windsor near Legoland. Had been trying to call their contact number 0871 984 6331 but no one picks up.
Anyone who been there before & know anything about free parking???
